General Hospital Spoilers: Kevin's Downward Spiral - Can't Forgive Himself For Ryan's Murders?General Hospital rumors tease that Dr. Kevin Collins (Jon Lindstrom) is having one tough time forgiving himself for the things that his twin Ryan Chamberlain (Jon Lindstrom) did, both with murdering and hurting people, especially Ava Jerome (Maura West).

It may be his guilt and wanting to make things right that caused him to finally go along with Ava’s plan to make Ryan jealous and lure him back to Port Charles, along with permissions and prodding from his wife, Laura Collins (Genie Francis) of course!

Everyone understands now that Kevin wanted to help his brother, and that Kevin now knows and understands the gravity of the mistake he made by not letting others in on the loop. That way, even if he had let just Anna Devane only (Finola Hughes) in on the loop, since Ryan had been working with the DVX, the WSB could have seen that he would get proper treatment.

Kevin was afraid that if he personally didn’t treat him, Ryan would just get shipped off to Steinmauer or some other prison without mental health treatment, which would have been cruel and inhuman punishment. Either the WSB or the PCPD would have seen to it that wouldn’t have happened regardless of the crimes he had committed previously.

Regardless of what General Hospital viewers or anyone in Port Charles think of Ryan, the questions need to be asked of what exactly the DVX was doing that caused him to completely lose his mind and howl like a dog! Obviously some kind of mind control experiments were done, and when they didn’t work, they called Kevin, the only living relative, to come and get him or he probably would have been killed, and Kevin didn’t want Ryan killed!

That’s another reason Kevin might have decided to play along with the plan and act like he’d taken up with Ava; to keep Ava from killing Ryan, except in self-defense of course if that need arises. If he can help in Ryan being captured and put in a different and more secure facility, say D’Archam, where Heather Webber (Robin Mattson) is, and assist in Ryan being deemed incompetent to stand trial compassionate Kevin would probably prefer that!

Either way, if he can save Ryan from being killed by Ava and still get justice for Kiki Jerome (Hayley Erin) and the other victims by capturing Ryan alive and letting the law and order system do it’s work, then maybe Kevin can forgive himself for handling Ryan’s situation wrong by handling it right this time around!
