General Hospital Spoilers: Kevin’s Surprising Return Could Spell The End Of His Marriage To Laura

General Hospital spoilers report Dr. Kevin Collins (Jon Lindstrom) is back in Port Charles, and Laura Collins (Genie Francis) isn’t exactly ready to welcome him with open arms.

If we know Laura, we know she’ll hate every minute that she feels this way, but telling him the truth about what happened while he was overseas is going to add significant stress to their lives.

That’s hardly how she wants to kick things off upon his return. Furthermore, she doesn’t want to implicate her husband in her crime just because she wants to unload her guilt onto him and keep him in the loop.

So, she just might decide not to breathe a word of it to him, and I can’t help but think that’s the pot calling the kettle black.

Overwhelm is an Understatement

Previews reveal Kevin showing up at the penthouse door, flowers in hand with a smile plastered across his face. That is not an expression Laura shares at the moment.

Instead, her face is painted with horror and uncertainty. She wasn’t expecting Kevin to come home unannounced, and she hasn’t had a moment to collect her thoughts and decide how to tell him the truth about her involvement with Professor Henry ‘Hank’ Dalton’s (Daniel Goddard) death.

Could this result in her deciding not to tell him at all because she just can’t find the words?

GH Spoilers Spill Silence Makes Laura a Hypocrite?

If Laura decides to keep this bombshell a secret from her husband, all bets are off. Remember when Kevin kept the truth from her about his treatment of his late brother, Ryan Chamberlain (Jon Lindstrom)?

Remember how they barely made it through when she found out that Ryan was responsible for so many crimes and that she had been living with and sleeping with the man while her husband was locked up in a padded cell in his place?

That never would have happened had he been honest — or had he not taken on the burden of treating his brother at all.

Much the same, she knows she can’t turn back time and deal with Dalton’s dead body in a different way, but she can shield her husband from penalty by not telling him about it and making him an accessory after the fact.

Change Was Bound to Come

Have you noticed that few couples on GH actually stay together for the long haul — especially those that have regular storylines in the mix?
