General Hospital Spoilers: Kim Is Back — With Drew’s Child?

We haven’t seen Kim Nero (Tamara Braun) or Julian Jerome (William deVry) in a while. The last thing we learned about Julian was that his legacy would be passed on in a third child. Where is that baby now, and what does Kim plan to do about his father?

General Hospital Spoilers — Julian Jerome And Kim Nero Had A Baby

In late 2020, GH fans said goodbye to Julian as his bullet-riddled body plummeted into the waters of an icy river. Julian had been on the run from mob boss Sonny Corinthos’ (Maurice Benard). Sonny had figured out Julian was involved with Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober) and wanted Julian to come clean to the PCPD. Just before his final and fatal encounter on a footbridge with Sonny, Julian had fled to New York City and tried to find Kim.

He showed up at Kim’s apartment and was greeted by a nanny. Julian didn’t question the caretaker, but the woman made it clear to Julian that Kim wasn’t home. After Julian left, she called Kim to let her know baby Andrew’s father had arrived like Kim predicted he would, and that he subsequently left, remaining unaware he had a son with Kim.

Kim has a history with one Port Charles resident before she ever came to know Julian — or “Charlie,” as she called him. The past snuck up on Kim and Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison), who were lovers in the past. It was only then that Drew learned he had a son with Kim — Oscar Nero-Quartermaine (Garren Stitt).

From the conversation Kim has with her nanny, it was clear Kim knows the baby is Julian’s son, but she’s going to show up in Port Charles claiming Quartermaine bloo anyway. Ava Jerome Cassadine (Maura West) just might grow suspicious of her late brother’s former lover — and with good reason.

It looks like Kim hasn’t learned her lesson about the side effects of keeping a child secret from their father. The ripple effect that it had on Oscar and the entire Quartermaine family when the truth came out about his paternity nearly broke Kim’s relationship with her son. Why would she chance that happening again? Does she really believe the Quartermaines will take kindly to yet another surprise baby for Drew? Will Drew accept Kim’s premise — no questions asked, when he knows the baby could have been Julian’s?
