General Hospital Spoilers: Kin Shriner Has Been Dealing With Some Major Drama

There’s a good reason why we haven’t been seeing this fan favorite on the canvas for a long time.

Of course, we are talking about General Hospital’s Kin Shriner, who is best known for his role as Scotty Baldwin on the hit ABC soap.

Just recently, Shriner posted on X that he underwent an ankle surgery a year ago and, according to him, it was botched. He had to recover for 6 months. The second surgery was successful and he’s now recuperating.

This of course explains why fans haven’t seen Scotty on the canvas in such a long time. In fact, there was even speculation suggesting Kin might have been taken off contact from the soap, but it looks like that hasn’t been the case at all. He’s just been dealing with personal drama!

The handsome actor shared a video of himself explaining how he’s been recovering these last several months. He also captioned it with, “News flash from Fla Scotty @GeneralHospital not just eating glazed donuts s he working hard to fix foot and get back to Vespa and all other things!”

Will Scotty Come Back?

Of course, the internet certainly had a lot to say about Kin’s clip. Some of his fans even commented with, “Wow hopefully he heals well.

I have permanent nerve damage from a botched foot surgery that then went untreated for almost a yr because of Covid . Good luck and speedy healing to him!”

Another fan wrote, “For Scotty’s return, I hope we find out he’s back scheming with Heather Webber, again played by Robin Mattson.”

And then there was this comment as well: “Oh, I thought he posted and confirmed that he was also written off the show a while ago. And that Kai took over his dressing room.”

“We all know being ‘written off’ can change. Hopefully Kin hasn’t burned his bridges with ABC.”
