General Hospital Spoilers: Kristen Alderson Talks Bringing Starr Manning Back To PC When Roger Howarth Returns

General Hospital (GH) spoilers reveals that just as her former acting partner Roger Howarth has departed the show as Franco Baldwin, but is set to return, Kristen Alderson has something to say about bringing back her character Starr Manning.

What did beautiful and talented Kristen have to say about possibly resuming the father-daughter relationship that once played out onscreen between her and Howarth? Here are the highlights of her interview with Soap Opera News.

General Hospital Spoilers – Kristen Alderson Spills The Tea

For starters she shared, “I think I was raised by everyone on [One Life to Live]. Everyone I worked with growing up had a little part in who I am today.”

“Working with adults from a very young age makes you grow up faster. They kind of taught me to be an adult and how to handle certain situations. I think that I got an amazing masterclass of life from everyone that worked there. Kassie [DePaiva] (who played Blair Manning(was like another mom. Robin [Strasser] (who played Dorian Lord) and I still see each other all the time to this day. I’ve spent almost half of my life with those people between action and cut. I feel like I lived a whole different life with them.”

Kristen went on to explain how fortunate she feels at having the chance to have grown up alongside her character Starr Manning on OLTL.

Fans saw Starr mature into a responsible young woman and according to her, “I think that is why people related so much to her was because they really watched her go through every step of being a human. Everything was in front of the audience. I really loved that after the pain of losing Cole and Hope that she was able to get back on her feet and it made me proud to see her be able to get her life together and live through that.”

General Hospital Spoilers – What Happens Next In Port Charles?

Roger Howarth recently exited GH after being shot and presumably killed by Peter August (Wes Ramsey). But he has confirmed that he is retuning to the show and fans are speculating it could be as his OLTL character, Todd Manning, who is Starr’s dad.

What does Kristen think about a possible return to GH and potentially bringing back the Manning family? “It would be a dream come true,” she enthused.

She said that her leaving the show in 2015 was a necessary life move at the time. “I just learned a lot about who I am,” she said. “But I would be really sad if someone said you could never play Starr Manning again because she is a part of me. So, if I had the chance to play her again it would just be the happiest thing.”
