General Hospital (GH) spoilers note that during a recent episode, it was revealed that Kristina Corinthos-Davis (Kate Mansi) is set to give birth to Baby Ashford sometime in August.
With all the drama spinning in the land of Port Charles, could she go to escape the madness and end up giving birth all alone?
General Hospital Spoilers – Every Baby In The Land Of Soaps Has A Dramatic Entrance
GH spoilers note that Kristina has a lot on her plate. TJ Ashford (Tajh Bellow) and Molly Lansing-Davis (Kristen Vaganos) are placing a ton of pressure on the surrogate mom and questioning her capabilities.
In addition, she also recently found out that her dad Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) wasn’t the man she thought he was.
Kristina believes in herself and thinks that TJ and Molly are just trying to control her through the baby, plus, when it comes to her dad, she’s still trying to digest the whole “Dex Heller (Evan Hofer) situation” from the wedding.
To boot, Blaze/Alison Rogers (Jacqueline Grace Lopez) recently opened her mouth and told Molly about Sonny’s blowup after the Quartermaine/Chase wedding, and the thought that her dad could be tried without Dex filing charges has her stressed, as well. Still, this drama will only continue to escalate as her pregnancy continues.
GH Spoilers – Kristina Corinthos-Davis Take Off
Kristina may take off for some time alone at some point this summer. While the baby is said to be due in August, these things have a way of happening when they want to happen.
A mom can deliver a healthy baby at 36 weeks, so maybe around that mark, Kristina decides to head to the Corinthos cabin for some time to herself.
She may reason that the baby isn’t due for another four weeks, so why not? She may also feel that if something happens, she has her basis covered and can call someone for help. It may also be a whimsical decision – Kristina is famous for those.
What if a storm hits Port Charles at the same time the surrogate heads out? What if Kristina’s car breaks down and she has to walk to the cabin to call for help because there’s no service where she’s at? The walk could bring on labor, and she may find herself giving birth, with no one around.
To add to the theatrics, what if she leaves a note for Blaze, Molly, or her mom Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) and it gets misplaced? What if no one knows where Kristina is when she heads to the cabin, and no one can find her because of cell service or her phone being “dead”?

Over and over again. Kristina gives birth alone in the woods. Ugh. Think up something new that’s dramatic. Last time Jason and Sam saved Kristina her from the cult. Have Laura get off her high horse and end up helping Sonny to help Kristina or Sonny and Alexis. Or let Blaze and Kristina manage it and keep the baby.
Kristina and Alison take off to the cabin, when Kristina goes into labor Alison must deliver the baby. This brings the two women closer together. When they get back to GH they learn there was a mixup with TJ’s donation to the process and he is not the babies father. Then Kristina decides that she and Alison will raise the baby, since she is the biological mother. It’s a baby girl which Kristina decides to name after Alisons stage name and calls her Flame. LOL!
OH! My goodness! Another character delivering a baby in the woods. Nelle Benson, Maxie Jones and now Kristina! Why not have deliver Molly and TJ’s baby in the hospital so Molly and TJ can be present. I knew once Kristina became pregnant there was to be a lot going on with her once the baby was born. First, she is going to be reluctant to hand the baby over to her sister and TJ. She have on so many occasions reflecting on the baby being hers. Second, it’s going to destroy her sister to sister relationship knowing that TJ is the father! And thrid, it was an awful SL to begin with. Kristina has always been a selfish character on GH and thats why Sonny has always played into her behavior. IMO! To make this right, even though Kristina is the biological mother? The agreement was to have this baby for her sister because she couldn’t have one of her own and stick with their agreement. There is no reason for Kristina to go off and be by herself and giving birth alone without the support of Molly and TJ.
