General Hospital Spoilers: Kristina’s Spiraling Mental Health Concern – Ferncliff Stay Coming?

General Hospital (GH) spoilers suggest there is no love lost between Kristina Corinthos-Davis (Kate Mansi) and Ava Jerome (Maura West). With that said, a recent scene on the soap has had fans questioning Kristina’s mental health.

Kristina Corinthos-Davis Has Been Through A Lot

Since Baby Irene/Adela passed away in early August 2024, Kristina has suffered a tremendous amount of loss.

Not only was the Metro Court pool incident with Ava traumatic in itself, losing the baby and the rift it caused between her and her sister, Molly Lansing-Davis (Kristen Vaganos), contributed to the awfulness of it all.

Add in the fact that Kristina lost her sister, Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco), mere months later, and her brother, Michael Corinthos’ (Chad Duell) burn accident that landed him in the hospital fighting for his life – and it’s not hard to see that Kristina is at her breaking point.

Her “argument” with Ava back in July triggered a long list of suffering, so it’s only natural that she’s zeroing in on Jerome. Add in the fact that Ava is a despicable person, and it’s no wonder Kristina feels as if she needs to take matters into her own hands.

Kristina’s Not Well

General Hospital spoilers state that the scene where Kristina was talking at Baby Irene/Adela’s gravesite during the Wednesday, March 26 episode was pivotal. Kristina sounded slightly unhinged as she talked to her baby and mentioned how she needed to be the one to “stop” Ava.

Kristina sounded mentally unstable. When all the chips fall, and the impending car accident occurs, will Kristina come forward? Will she hide?

Will evidence surface that Kristina tampered with Ava’s car? Will Kristina lie and then feel so guilty about it that she has a mental health breakdown? Could she be sent to Ferncliff or some sort of treatment center?
