General Hospital Spoilers: Laura And Curtis’ Clandestine Meeting

General Hospital spoilers tease that Laura Collins (Genie Francis) will have a clandestine meeting with Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) in the park; could this be to discuss a strategy for Spencer Cassadine (Nicolas Bechtel) to get his rightful inheritance?

General Hospital Spoilers – Spencer Cassadine Has Been Demanding His Inheritance For A While

General Hospital viewers will recall that Spencer has been demanding his inheritance for a while now, ever since Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) came on the scene, and Spencer’s father, Nikolas Cassadine (last played by Nick Stabile) supposedly died at Valentin’s hand. However, as there have been many clues over the years that Valentin may have helped Nik fake his own death with Spencer being in the loop, he may be making a lot of loud noise about the inheritance on purpose. If this is proven to be the case, then Valentin may or may not continue to be in charge of the estate, including Wyndemere mansion and Spoon Island, unless he and Nikolas had a prior agreement to share.

GH Spoilers – However, Nikolas Cassadine Has Not Been Absolutely Proven To Be Alive

Even though there have been a lot of clues to Nikolas’ survival lately, including psychic Chelsea Lam’s (Jen Ray) message to Laura that her son was in grave danger, and it wasn’t Lucky Spencer (Jonathan Jackson) it has not been absolutely proven that Nikolas is alive, so until he is, he must continue to be presumed dead. Since Curtis and Laura presume he’s dead as well, the search for the codicil to Mikkos Cassadine’s will focuses on Spencer being the rightful heir, rather than Nikolas.

Jasper Jacks (Ingo Rademacher) and Hayden Barnes (Rebecca Budig) hire Curtis to find the codicil. Curtis will be surprised to learn that Valentin may not be the rightful heir, and he will see this job as a way to clarify things for his close friend Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros). He will assume the heir is Spencer, as does Laura, which is why she wants to meet with Curtis to discuss a strategy to get her grandson’s rightful inheritance.

General Hospital Spoilers – Spencer Cassadine, If He Is Not SORASED And Recast, Is Still A Minor

Spencer is thirteen or fourteen years old, having been born in 2006, so if he is not SORASED (Soap Opera Rapid Aging Syndrome) and recast, since Nicolas Bechtel is also fourteen. If he is proven to be the true Cassadine heir, then Laura would likely put everything into a trust fund until he is at least legal age, if not older because of his rambunctious personality!

However, many General Hospital spoilers tease that his father, Nikolas is alive and will be discovered or will come forth. It is assumed that the mysterious Cassadine hand on Cassandra Pierce’s (Jessica Tuck) knee when she was intercepted on her way back to the WSB last year may belong to Nikolas although it is not absolutely verified. In any case, Laura will be an interested party to this mysterious codicil, and since Curtis has been hired to find it, she will demand to be kept in the loop.
