General Hospital Spoilers: Laura Can’t Defeat Victor Alone — Will She Take Cyrus Up On His Offer?

General Hospital spoilers suggest Laura Collins (Genie Francis) has been plotting to take down Victor Cassadine (Charles Shaugnessy) for months now. She knew when he showed up back in Port Charles after being discovered alive and well that he wouldn’t be up to anything good. Still, Laura knew she couldn’t act on her suspicions without evidence that he had done anything wrong.

Now that she knows what Victor is up to — at least with regard to framing Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) for shooting Lucy Coe (Lynn Herring) — she is committed to putting him behind bars. Of course, that’s easier said than done since Victor has set himself up in a way that safeguards him from Laura’s attacks.

General Hospital Spoilers — Nikolas Cassadine Tells Laura Collins To Back Off

Nikolas has only just revealed to Laura what he’s really been up to on Spoon Island and why his divorce from Ava Jerome Cassadine (Lynn Herring) is moving full steam ahead. Now that Laura knows about Nik’s alleged affair with Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst), she understands much better why Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Chavez) feels so alienated from Wyndemere and his father’s life.

It was only in the process of this confession from Nikolas though that Laura became aware of the extenuating circumstances surrounding Spencer’s early release from Pentonville —- and she wasn’t happy.

Laura was pretty comfortable dealing with Victor on her own. That is, until she found out how deeply he had already sunk his teeth into her family. Knowing that Spencer is legally under his guardianship gives Laura grave concern. She doesn’t trust Victor and knows he only does something for someone else if it’s going to ultimately benefit him.

Now that she feels like her grandson is a sitting duck, she wants to act against Victor even more swiftly to take him down, but Nikolas has warned her doing so will ruin him in the process as Victor also has dirt on Nik. Will this madness ever end?

General Hospital Spoilers — Cyrus Renault Offers Reinforcements

Laura felt so certain that she didn’t need her brother’s help when she left him with his offer standing on the table at Pentonville. She was confident she saw right through Cyrus and that his only motivation was to take Victor down, not actually to help her.
