General Hospital Spoilers: Laura Doubts Nikolas’ Survival, Convinced He Would Reveal Himself To Her or Spencer

General Hospital spoilers tease that Laura Collins (Genie Francis) has her doubts about her presumed dead son Nikolas Cassadine’s (most recently Nick Stabile) survival in upcoming episodes.

General Hospital viewers will recall in recent episodes that someone appeared to be sneaking around watching Ava Jerome (Maura West), including a time when Laura and Ava were together talking at the Metro Court. Many mentions have been made and clues have been seen that Nikolas Cassadine faked his death, possibly with the help of his uncle Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart). Although both Laura and Ava believe Valentin killed Nikolas, who fell out of a high window on Cassadine Island in Greece.

However, no remains were ever found, let alone an identifiable body, and a day had elapsed between the gunshot and the rest of those, other than Ava, knowing that Nikolas had been shot. Valentin and Nikolas had several conversations between themselves in Greek, which Nikolas had translated to the rest, so they easily could have been planning how to fake Nikolas’ death. After all, he had tried to fake his death before but was found out and that’s why everyone went to Cassadine Island, to bring him back, other than Ava, who’d recognized him when they were in adjoining airplane seats!

General Hospital Spoilers – Hints Of Nikolas Cassadine’s Survival

There have been hints of Nikolas’ survival for over a year now, starting with the mysterious male hand with a Cassadine crest ring on a finger. GH viewers saw this on Cassandra Pierce’s (Jessica Tuck) leg in the back of a car. The vehicle had been intercepted between a Canadian clinic, where Dr. Hamilton Finn (Michael Easton) had been lured so he could figure out how to bring Cassandra out of her coma – which he did.

Cassandra was intercepted between the clinic and the WSB medical facility where she was supposed to be. More recently, Laura tried to bust psychic Chelsea Lam (Jen Ray) for fraud, but was shocked to hear her say that her son was in danger.

Not the son in Africa, which would be Lucky Spencer (Jonathan Jackson), so that leaves Nikolas! He was also thought to be the man who was accompanying Cassandra on several surveillance videos acquired by the WSB, but his face could not be seen in any of them.

General Hospital Spoilers – Why Has He Not Revealed Himself?

If Nikolas is alive, and especially if he is in Port Charles, why has he not revealed himself? Perhaps he escaped the danger he was in and does not want to be found again. He also wouldn’t want his mother endangered or Ava so that would be why he didn’t approach them when he looked. Other General Hospital spoilers say that a masked man will follow Ava from the Halloween Ball at the Metro Court back to her art gallery. But why Ava, and why the art gallery?

Nikolas got to know Ava well enough to know he could trust her with his secret if necessary, and he may be trying to retrieve the portrait of Helena Cassadine (Constance Towers) which is now in her art gallery; the codicil to Mikkos Cassadine’s (John Colicos) will could be between the portrait and the mounting board behind it in the frame. However, Ava has a gun with her at all times, so Nik would be wise to reveal himself before she pulls it out. Laura has been befriending and reaching out to Ava, so if this is how it plays out Ava may tell Laura that Nikolas is alive and visited her in her gallery.

But Laura will have doubts that Nikolas survived, and probably because she knows that he would not let her or his son Spencer Cassadine (Nicolas Bechtel) think he is dead if he is not, but it’s entirely possible if he didn’t want danger following him to his mother or his son, he would stay undercover. Spencer may know his father is alive and just not be able to tell his grandmother as well.
