General Hospital Spoilers: Laura Gives Up On Lulu – Dante Fights To Keep Her Alive?

General Hospital: Dante Falconeri (Dominick Zamprogna), Laura Collins (Genie Francis)General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that Lulu Spencer’s (Emme Rylan) family is going to get some troubling news in the coming days. As GH viewers know, Lulu suffered a traumatic brain injury during the explosion at The Floating Rib, and she passed out in Dante Falconeri’s (Dominick Zamprogna) arms later at the hospital. Well, it seems that Lulu’s condition is going to remain grave, and her loved ones will be told that she requires long-term care and may not wake up from her coma.

This is of course going to devastate Laura Collins (Genie Francis) and Dante, who want nothing more than for Lulu to wake up. Lulu’s got Charlotte Cassadine (Scarlett Fernandez) and Rocco Falconeri (O’Neill Monahan) to live for, and both Laura and Dante will want to give Lulu every opportunity to get better and come back to them all.

General Hospital Spoilers – Laura Collins And Dante Falconeri Have A Different Opinion

It seems, however, that Laura and Dante will have a difference of opinion about the best way for Lulu to move forward. In the new GH promo, Dante wonders aloud whether Laura is just giving up on her daughter, which makes it sound like Laura might be pushing for Lulu to simply be kept comfortable and move into long-term care. GH viewers will remember that Turning Woods has a long-term care wing, where Lucas Jones (then played by Ryan Carnes) recovered from his coma.

GH Spoilers – Dante Falconeri May Resist

But it looks like Dante might resist the move for Lulu to go to long-term care. In his fear and grief, Dante may see the move as a statement that everyone’s giving up hope that Lulu can come out of this. Of course, Dante is probably carrying around some serious guilt about being away from Lulu for so long, so some of his feelings probably stem from that place.

Perhaps Laura will be able to convince Dante that by moving Lulu to a care facility, they’re not “giving up” on her, but making her comfortable and giving her time to heal. Still, that could be a tough sell with Dante, who will probably cling to hope that Lulu can come back sooner rather than later. It’s a natural instinct on Dante’s part, and it probably comes from a place of love.

Of course, Laura may realize that Lulu would be much better off in a facility that’s not run by Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober), and the more Dante thinks about it, he might come to that conclusion, too. It would definitely be uncharacteristic of Laura to actually give up on Lulu under any circumstance; she just might be thinking that Lulu would get better care at a non-Cyrus facility.

We’ll see what ends up happening, but it sure looks like Lulu’s going to go somewhere like Turning Woods to convalesce for the long-term. Do you think that Laura will convince Dante that a long-term care facility is the way to go for Lulu’s care?
