General Hospital spoilers reveals Laura Collins (Genie Francis) hasn’t been fond of her brother, Cyrus Renault (Joff Kober), pretty much since the point at which she discovered they were related. He’s a man of organized crime, and she apparently doesn’t agree with his lifestyle. We’ve yet to discern what’s so different about Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) — a man she holds dear to her.
Nonetheless, Cyrus seems to do things out of spite just to hurt other people, and that irks Laura more than anything else. So, when Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Chavez) tells his grandmother that Cyrus has once again come to his aid — and that he’s calling out Victor Cassadine (Charles Shaugnessy) for the cruel and heartless man that he is, Laura is going to wonder if she got it wrong.
General Hospital Spoilers — Maybe Cyrus Renault Really Has Changed
General Hospital spoilers say Laura has been hesitant to believe Cyrus is truly a changed man. After all the awful things he has done, how can she possibly turn her cheek and forgive him? At times, she’s felt guilty for refusing to when he continues to preach about forgiveness himself. He has been patient though, and she gives him credit for that. The old Cyrus would have demanded that she accept him and give him credit on his timeline. The new Cyrus has allowed her to come to accept who he is now on her own terms, and that’s something.
When Laura and Robert Scorpio (Tristan Rogers) hit a brick wall during their investigation into Victor’s dealings with Holly Sutton (Emma Samms), she will know instantly that they’re going to need back-up. However, when Laura mentions they may need to look for help that is outside of the WSB and PCPD purview, Robert is going to be hesitant to accept the kind of favors she’s wanting to ask for. While he initially assumes she wants to go knock on Sonny Corinthos’ (Maurice Benard) door, he might be unavailable to assist her at the time, leaving Laura in the lurch and in need of a similar friend. Will Cyrus answer her call?
