General Hospital: Laura Collins (Genie Francis) General Hospital spoilers and updates tease that Laura Collins (Genie Francis) will have some huge concerns when she finds out Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) is dating Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart)! Laura has good reasons not to trust Cassadines, not even her own son and grandson sometimes and she’ll warn Anna in an upcoming GH!

General Hospital Spoilers – Laura Collins Has Had Years Of Experience With Cassadines, None Of It Good!

Longtime viewers will remember Laura has had years of experience with Cassadines, none of it good; the only Cassadines she does trust are Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) and her daughters. She’s finding even her own son Nikolas Cassadine (Marcus Coloma) and grandson Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Chavez) aren’t completely trustworthy and Laura is shocked to hear Anna is dating Valentin! Granted, Valentin was helpful in tracking Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) and navigating Cassadine Island, and everyone is grateful for that, but Laura still doesn’t trust him!

Laura was held hostage on Cassadine Island and forced to marry and give Stavros Cassadine (Robert Kelker-Kelly) an heir – Nikolas; so it is with good reason she’s worried about Anna! Laura knows how conniving and duplicitous the Cassadines can be!

GH Spoilers – Anna Devane Was Fooled By Peter August, She Could Be Fooled By Valentin Cassadine

Laura knows that Anna was fooled by Peter August (Wes Ramsey) because of her feelings – she believed he was her son until she found out he was her nephew. But still, the feelings were there and she was easily manipulated by Peter because of them and it was like when someone can’t see the forest for the trees! Anna had lost all her objectivity where Peter was concerned for a long time, and Laura fears the same could happen where Valentin is concerned!

And it certainly doesn’t help that Victor Cassadine (Charles Shaughnessy) is claiming to be his father – although those paternity tests never have been done; the resemblance is there however. Laura isn’t sure how involved Valentin is with Victor, although she knows he never knew he was his father until he wound up captive for a time with Drew. That’s certainly no way for a father to treat a child, a grown man or not!

General Hospital Spoilers – Anna Devane Knew Valentin Cassadine From WSB Spy School As Ivan Theodore

Laura didn’t know anything about Valentin when she was held hostage other than he was said to be Mikkos Cassadine’s (John Colicos) illegitimate son and was put in a boarding school. Anna and Laura talk a little bit about Valentin’s past history and Anna reveals she knew him in WSB spy school as Ivan Theodore. He was one of the brightest and smartest students and at that time he had suffered from severe scoliosis.

She tells Laura the story of how she and her twin sister Alexandra Devane (Finola Hughes) had never known of each other then. Valentin had an affair with Alex and thought she was Anna, she had impersonated Anna not knowing they were sisters.

GH Spoilers – Anna Devane Knew Valentin Cassadine As Ivan Theodore Before She Knew Robert Scorpio

Anna understands Laura’s worries given her long and fraught history with the Cassadines and her forced marriage to Stavros, no doubt she went through hell. But Valentin wasn’t raised with the rest of them on Cassadine Island, and in fact she’s known him longer than Robert Scorpio (Tristan Rogers)! Anna certainly isn’t offended by her old friend’s motherly concern, even though they are close to the same age – Anna maybe a couple or so years older. Anna assures Laura she knows to keep her objectivity and if she’s suspicious of something concerning Valentin, she’ll check it out!
