General Hospital (GH) spoilers reveal that the residents of Port Charles, New York learn that beloved nurse Bobbie Spencer (the late Jacklyn Zeman) died in Amsterdam while on a mission to resolve her late brother Luke Spencer’s (Anthony Geary) estate.
Spoilers show that her daughter Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) gets a call from the American embassy informing her that Bobbie died in her sleep. She is devastated.
General Hospital Spoilers – Carly Spencer Is Devastated
Carly has a huge support system, starting with her boyfriend Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison). Spoiler alert: even Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst) reaches out to Carly.
As it can happen with the sudden and unexpected death of a loved one, Carly will feel that the ground has collapsed underneath her. In her time of sadness, Kelly’s diner becomes a comfort to her—Bobbie gave her the family business before leaving for Amsterdam.
GH Spoilers – Carly Spencer Needs Support
After hearing the news, Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) visits his ex to see if she is okay. In the beginning it is awkward but Carly stops Sonny from leaving her. Ultimately she breaks down in his arms in a very poignant moment.
Laura Wright talked to SOD about this electrifying CarSon moment: “He’s family. He is the deepest family that she has, now that her mother is gone … I said, ‘I would run into his arms, not like, Let’s make out, but like, ‘No one knows me better than you.’”

Wright went on to allude to the “intimacy of the rest of the scene” and that has CarSon fans cheering like crazy.
Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) betrayed both Sonny and Carly by turning her into the SEC for insider trading. Sonny hates betrayal!
He must think long and hard about his desire to be with a woman who so easily lies to his face and puts his loved ones in danger.

Carson super couple reunion!!!!! Yes, count me in!! These two understand each other and are soul mates. There is no way they should be written with anyone but each other.
I have a hard time with Carly putting all the blame on Nina, she’s the one who committed securities fraud! She’s as much to blame if not more! I don’t think it’s right! And the self righteous crap when she’s as bad if not worse with the things she did when she first came to Port Chuck especially to Bobbie!
If she really wants to go back to Sonny, that is her choice. He has more or less let her run her show. She was included in his business because she could step in at any minute. She would usually know what he would have done if he was there.
If she doesn’t want to go back with him, then nothing would have never changed. She will always be special to him because she is family either way.
I want that reunion to happen too. Carly and Drew are boring!
