General Hospital Spoilers: Liz Webber’s Shocking Discovery

General Hospital (GH) spoilers indicate that Carly Corinthos’ (Laura Wright) recent visit to Elizabeth Webber (Rebecca Herbst) was every bit as intense as one would expect from the two of them. Both women have recently become widows, although Carly’s husband Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Bernard) is alive but suffering from amnesia.

GH recaps reveal Carly and Liz have rarely seen eye to eye on just about anything but their clashes usually have something to do with Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) and this time is no different.

General Hospital Spoilers – Despite An Eye Witness Account Jason Morgan Did Not Kill Franco Baldwin

Franco Baldwin (Roger Howarth) was diagnosed with an inoperable brain tumor several months ago. And while that meant Franco’s death was imminent, Franco was also concerned that since his first brain tumor altered his personality, that he might once again become the twisted serial killer he was the first time.

Not wanting to hurt anyone that way ever again, Franco asked Jason to kill him if there were any signs that he was becoming dangerous once again. General Hospital recaps show Jason didn’t kill Franco, but given Franco’s request and the fact that when Elizabeth got to Franco’s art studio Jason was kneeling next to Franco’s body, it’s easy to understand why Elizabeth was so sure of Jason’s guilt, at least at first.

GH Spoilers – Carly Corinthos argued that Jason Morgan would never have been as sloppy as the person who shot Franco was?

The truth, as Carly pointed out to Elizabeth, is that if Jason had killed Franco, he never would have let Elizabeth find him at the crime scene nor would Franco’s body have ever been found most likely. And now, even more suspiciously, an eyewitness has come forward and they claimed they saw Jason dispose of a gun.

According to General Hospital spoilers, Police recovered the gun and it was indeed the murder weapon. The witness in question is Gladys Corbin (Bonnie Borroughs) who made the false claim at the behest of Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober). As viewers know, Cyrus has now allied himself with the true killer, Peter August (Wes Ramsey)in order to get rid of their common enemy, Jason.

General Hospital Spoilers – As Carly Corinthos’ Words Sink In, Elizabeth Webber Will Do Some Sleuthing Of Her Own

As convinced as Elizabeth was of Jason’s guilt, Carly’s made a lot of valid points. For Jason to be guilty of killing Franco, Jason would have had to made several mistakes that Jason would have made. Not knowing what to believe, look for Elizabeth to return to Franco’s art studio. As her mind goes back to the night Franco died, she will likely recall that when she visited Franco earlier that night with her son Cameron Webber (William Lipton), Cam brought Franco the phone that had a message from Drew Cain (Billy Miller) from the time that Drew’s memories were implanted into Franco.

As far as Elizabeth knows it should be somewhere in the art studio. Perhaps General Hospital’s Franco put it in a special hiding place that only her and Elizabeth know about. Regardless of whether or not Elizabeth finds it, her thoughts will likely turn to Peter. It wasn’t all that long ago that Peter hacked into General Hospital’s records and made public the fact that Franco now had another brain tumor. But will she have enough information to realize Peter killed Franco?
