General Hospital Spoilers: Lois Leaves Port Charles When The Truth About Gio Is Exposed

General Hospital spoilers indicate that Lois Cerullo (Rena Sofer) could very well be forced to leave town when the truth about Gio Palmieri (Giovanni Mazza) is revealed.

General Hospital has been gearing up for the revelation that Gio is actually the biological child of Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) and Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zampronga), and that Gio is in fact the child that Brook Lynn put up for adoption when she was a teenager.

But unbeknownst to Brook Lynn, Lois placed him with the Palmieri family and he was always nearby.

Not to mention, Gio has been in Port Charles for a while now and living in the Quartermaine mansion right under Brook Lynn and Dante’s nose, and neither of them has any idea that he is actually their son!

Lois is fully aware of this, and the truth coming out will indeed spell trouble for her.

The Truth About Gio Palmieri Will Have Repercussions for Lois Cerullo

The secret about Gio’s paternity is bound to come out soon, and could very well spell trouble for Lois.

Many besides Brook Lynn and Dante will be affected, including Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard), Lulu Spencer (Alexa Havins Bruening), Ned Quartermaine (Wally Kurth), Olivia Quartermaine (Lisa LoCierco), Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Bernard), Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot) and others.

The fact that Lois knew the entire time that Gio was Brook Lynn and Dante’s son will not go over well with the people that are closest to her. The person it will hurt the most though will be Brook Lynn.

Lois Cerullo Faces The Music

Brook Lynn will be devastated that her mother kept this secret from her for years. Gio grew up nearby and she has known him for years, and she was unaware that Lois knew the whole time that he was her son.

Brook Lynn is bound to be devastated by Lois’ betrayal, and Lois will be inconsolable by her daughter’s rejection.

The relationship between them will be strained. Also family members closest to Brook Lynn and Dante, will not be pleased by Lois’s secrecy and lies.

Lois Cerullo Thinks That Some Time and Distance Is Needed

Lois will be remorseful for her actions, and plead for forgiveness. She will feel the best thing to do to deal with the fallout is give everyone time to heal. The best way for her to do that will return to Bensonhurst.

Brook Lynn, Dante and family members are sure to agree that Lois needs to leave in order to salvage their relationships in the future. A devastated Lois will leave Port Charles for a while.
