General Hospital (GH) spoilers hint that fans can’t help but feel as if there’s a huge secret surrounding Giovanni “Gio” Palmieri (Giovanni Mazza).

When he first entered storylines in the spring, it felt like his character was introduced as a romantic interest for a suddenly single, Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali). With that said, as time has gone by, GH viewers can’t help but feel there’s so much more to Gio’s reasons for being in Port Charles.

General Hospital Spoilers – Are Brook Lynn Quartermaine-Chase & Dante Falconeri Gio’s Parents?

GH spoilers suggest that Gio’s Bensonhurst parents, might not be his “real” parents. After all, a scene some months ago between Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) and Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) served as a reminder regarding some past Port Charles drama.

Dante lashed out at Carly for ‘pretending’ to love Lulu Spencer (Alexa Havins Bruening) when she once worked overtime to break him and Lulu up.

The conversation became sort of a history lesson when Dante pointed out that Carly had once paid Brook Lynn Quartermaine-Chase (Amanda Setton) to drug him and then seduce him.

Back then, BLQ insisted that she and Dante did nothing together, but what if GH decides to rewrite history, as they often love to do?

If Brook Lynn and Dante did the deed, the way the timelines match up, she could’ve had a baby off-screen and given it up for adoption.

Her mom Lois would’ve been the person by her side to love and support her during this trying time. She may have been the one to hand the child off to his new parents, so could Gio be the very child who BLQ gave up all those years ago?

She likely doesn’t know who her child went to, and the secret could’ve been kept under wraps by Lois and Gio’s parents all this time.

Was Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) in the know? He’s made sure Gio’s schooling and expensive violin activities have been paid for over the years, so that is possible. There’s always a chance that Lois confided in Sonny as he is Dante’s father.

GH Spoilers – Gio Palmieri’s Life Is On The Line

There have also been hints that BLQ is hiding some sort of baby secret from Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) as the two have embarked on a “making a baby” journey.

As Chase has talked about baby and pregnancy “firsts”, Brook Lynn’s facial expressions seem to hint that this isn’t the first time she’d be experiencing certain things.

But what if Gio ends up with a medical emergency? As this secret has been hidden for so long it seems unlikely that Lois (or Sonny) would accidentally slip up, so the only thing that could cause it to surface is if Gio’s life is on the line.

Lois may be desperate to have Sonny, his children/grandchildren, as well as Dante and Brook Lynn, get tested to save Gio, but perhaps he ends up getting a condition where only a family member can help. If that’s the case, Lois would likely fess up.
