General Hospital Spoilers: Lonely Lulu – Has She Had Enough Of Dante’s Absence?

General Hospital spoilers tease that Lulu Falconeri (Emme Rylan) has become close to fed up with her WSB hubby Dante Falconeri’s (Dominic Zamprogna) continued absence! In a recent episode of General Hospital, Peter August (Wes Ramsey) walked in on the last part of a rather nasty argument Lulu was having with Dante on the phone. Both GH viewers and Peter could see she was visibly upset with Dante, and she got a little loud to boot!

In real time, Dominic Zamprogna left General Hospital as Dante Falconeri near the end of June, about four months. Dante was suddenly drafted by the WSB for a mission to capture a criminal that Dante had been very familiar with, and his familiarity with the criminal was needed. In soap opera time, that time period may be much longer, and Lulu was frustrated that Dante was still not able to come home. Lulu told Dante about the Ryan Chamberlain article she was working on for the Invader, which she may have previously brought Dante up to date off screen and told him earlier in their conversation that Peter had bought it and intended to make turn it from a tabloid to a legitimate paper. Nevertheless, Lulu said enough to Dante onscreen that General Hospital viewers knew he was not on board at all with Lulu writing for Peter and the new improved version of The Invader!

The more this mission drags on, the more Lulu may feel like Dante may never return. Dante told her before he left that this type of spy mission work was something he’d always wanted to do, even though it meant being away from home, Lulu and the children for extended periods of time, and keeping many secrets from her as a security matter. Lulu was used to him not being able to share police case details with her, but he was home every night so it didn’t matter. Dante doesn’t want her writing investigative stories, which can bring dangerous results…after all, look what happened to his former partner Nathan West (Ryan Paevey) when Lulu wrote a story to draw Cesar Faison (Anders Hove) out of hiding! Peter was part of that, so of course Dante wouldn’t want Lulu to have anything to do with Peter, who he no doubt still views as a criminal, let alone work closely with him!
