Marco Made Lucas Promise Not To Go In The Catacombs
Marco made Lucas promise not to go in the catacombs recently, when Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) was visiting-in spite of Lucas’ explanation that he lived there as a child.
Ava Jerome (Maura West) had the secret entrance in the living room by the fireplace closed off, but that was probably because she had Avery Corinthos-Jerome (Ava and Grace Scarola) there.
But, what Lucas doesn’t know is that not only had Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) been captive in that area-recently moved to France by Pascal (Marc Forget) so’s the secret lab.
This is the lab where Britt is being forced to complete her father, Cesar Faison’s (Anders Hove) final project, which is said to involve cold fusion.
Will Curiosity “Kill The Cat”?

Now the question is, will curiosity “kill the cat” and Lucas not be able to resist going under the mansion in spite of his promise to Marco?
Lucas was already shocked seeing Britt in the mansion recently, and she explained it was a second job as a “concierge” doctor at Wyndemere-and then there was crooked WSB Director Ross Cullum, (Andrew Hawkes).
Marco knows about everything that’s going on and about Cullum being his father’s boss in the underground project, even though he plays dumb.
There’s also a chance Josslyn will spill the beans about finding Faison’s book and cigarillos in Cullum’s coat to Lucas-and possibly to her mother, who also pays a visit.
She has an encounter with Jenz Sidwell (Carlo Rota) when she does Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) a favor after he tells her he’s going to Wyndemere; either scenario might cause Lucas to investigate.

Lucas Is Shocked At What He Finds On His Exploration Adventure?
It makes sense for Lucas to be curious if he sees Britt in a part of the mansion where there is still an entrance to go down under into the catacombs or near them.
It’s easy to imagine that if he’s the only other there and everyone else is somewhere else for him to follow her and find the lab.
One would think that Sidwell would have a security team, but seeing as Pascal acts as his butler as well as having more nefarious tasks as well, perhaps he doesn’t have one.
Lucas may indeed be shocked if when he goes looking, he finds the secret lab even if he doesn’t follow Britt into it. What else might he find, or, perhaps overhear once he finds the lab, and what will he do about it?
