General Hospital spoilers tease that Lucas Jones (Ryan Carnes) will be on life support with a head injury after he and Brad Cooper (Parry Shen) run into Kendra Lennon’s (Michelle Argyris) car as she is trying to run over Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) in an upcoming episode of GH!

Julian Jerome Tampered With Brad Cooper’s Car

As General Hospital viewers know, Julian Jerome (William DeVry) tampered with Brad’s car, which contributed to Lucas, who he didn’t know would be in the car, not being able to stop when he saw Kendra racing to run over Alexis, who she put in the road in order to recreate her brother Kiefer Bauer’s (Christian Alexander) death, with the result of Brad being killed and Lucas suffering a bad head injury involving likely neurological damage.

Right now, General Hospital is in dire need of a neurosurgeon, and neither Dr. Patrick Drake (Jason Thompson) nor Robin Scorpio-Drake (Kimberly McCullough) are available, so Lucas’ adoptive sister, Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) calls the best one she knows – Dr. Griffin Munro (Matt Cohen)! She likely has gotten his contact information from Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) since Griffin left GH and Port Charles some time ago. Will he be available? Griffin came to GH initially because he and Lucas were close friends in med school; surely he will step up for his old friend Lucas!

Dr. Griffin Munro Left Town In An Anguished State After Kiki Jerome Was Murdered

General Hospital viewers will recall that Griffin had been dating Kiki Jerome (Hayley Erin) after breaking up with her obsessively jealous mother, Ava Jerome (Maura West). Griffin was the last person to see her alive, and was initially arrested as a suspect in her death although it was later proven to have been Ryan Chamberlain (Jon Lindstrom).

Griffin was in a very anguished state after her death, and after Dr. Kevin Collins (Jon Lindstrom) was rescued from Ferncliff, where Ryan had switched with his twin and kept him imprisoned for several months, Griffin came across Kevin and tried to kill him for knowing Ryan was alive and not telling anyone, but Ava stopped him. However, Griffin’s hands were quite bruised up and his injuries were tended to by Lucas.

Dr. Griffin Munro Is The Son Of Duke Lavery

Griffin was the son of Duke Lavery, (Ian Buchanan) the love of Anna’s life and so, of course, Griffin and Anna became close while he was in town, very much like a mother and son. This would be a good time for him to come back for more than just a visit to save Lucas’ life so that he and Anna could reconnect.

Dr. Andre Maddox (Anthony Montgomery) could use a neurologist to consult on Franco Baldwin’s (Roger Howarth) case as well, although it would probably be best that Ava doesn’t know he’s back, at least not right away! However, if he does return to Port Charles and General Hospital, he will definitely receive a warm welcome back, even if it’s only for a short arc to save Lucas!
