General Hospital spoilers and updates tease that sooner or later, and possibly sooner, Lucas Jones (Van Hansis) will discover that Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) was right!
Carly has tried to beat some sense into her brother’s head about the dangers of his involvement with Marco Rios (Adrian Anchondo) and when she’s proven right, there’ll be no “I told you so’s” allowed!
Lucas Still Won’t Accept Any “I Told You So’s” From Carly, Even When She’s Proven Right
Carly is definitely going to find it hard to resist saying “I told you so,” but in reality, we’re just teasing; she will genuinely enjoy it. Regardless of whether her brother Lucas appreciated her opinion or not, Carly was determined to express herself, and she certainly did.
Now, Lucas is about to discover precisely how his sister feels regarding his relationship with Marco, as the upcoming episodes of General Hospital reveal that Carly was indeed correct about Marco.
However, despite this revelation, Lucas will still refuse to accept any “I told you so” remarks from his sister, or from anyone else for that matter!
And he will probably just suffer in silence, and it’ll be doubly discouraging, since his ex-Brad Cooper’s (Parry Shen) back in town and he tried to warn him too!
Will Lucas Channel Happy Days’ Arthur “Fonzie” Fonzarelli?
General Hospital viewers who remember Luke Spencer (Anthony Geary) and Laura Webber’s (Genie Francis) wedding likely also remember a “Happy Days” episode if they watched it too. These two episodes were on ABC around the same time period in the late 1970s.
This was the one where Arthur “Fonzie” Fonzarelli (Henry Winkler) was proven wrong about something and couldn’t admit it-he stuttered and stammered the words.
Can’t you just picture Lucas in an conversation with Carly, or Brad, or anyone else who cares about him and him channeling Fonzie? “I was wr—-rrr—“ and he never gets the word “wrong” completely out of his mouth!
Marco Seemed To Genuinely Care About Lucas
From the start, Marco seemed truly interested in Lucas and appears to genuinely cares for him, showing concern and even love.
However, Carly was worried about Marco’s hidden ties to organized crime-even with the clear danger of dating a mobster’s son, Lucas has become quite at ease in his relationship with Marco.
Dr. Jones has faith in Marco-little does he realize the deceit and secrets lurking in his new home; Carly cautioned Lucas about Marco and advised him against moving to Wyndemere.
Sadly, his living situation with Marco and his father Jenz Sidwell (Carlo Rota) created a rift between Lucas and Carly, and in upcoming episodes Lucas will uncover the truth about Marco soon.
There’s no doubt that Lucas is at risk, and Carly was correct; before long, he’ll realize he should have heeded his sister’s warning, even if he can’t admit he was “wrrr—wrrr—ong!”
