Might Lucas have put something incriminating in Sidwell’s safe the second trip?

Lucas Had Just Delivered The Photos And Negatives To Sonny And Laura

In Friday, June 5th’s episode of General Hospital, Lucas had just  delivered the photos and negatives used to blackmail Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) and Laura Collins (Genie Francis).

Lucas argued that the best strategy to bring down Sidwell was to catch him red-handed while trying to murder someone else, indicating that the safe played a vital role in their scheme.

Later on, Lucas went back to the house and opened Sidwell’s safe again; he had just locked it up when Sidwell entered the study and asked if he required help with anything.

Lucas managed to escape unscathed, with Sidwell none the wiser, but what may have Lucas come across that was so incriminating that it would solve all their Sidwell problems?

Not to mention, the only way it would is if the police got a warrant for the contents of the safe, now that the incriminating photos of Henry Dalton (Daniel Goddard) in Laura’s trunk are gone!

Something A Little More High Tech Would Be Better, But Lucas Hasn’t Had Opportunity

Something a little more high tech would be better, such as planting some cameras and bugs in the mansion to catch Sidwell in the act, but Lucas hasn’t had opportunity to do that.

If he had, he could have caught Sidwell on camera killing Henry Dalton in his living room-but then again, maybe someone did, and that’s what Lucas put back in the safe!

Lucas’ first trip to the safe was while Sonny and Laura had Pascal at the Corinthos Coffee warehouse, and it wouldn’t make any sense for him to remove something, only to put it back!

Perhaps Lucas had some time to search Pascal’s quarters, finding something there-he definitely had a plan in  mind and a means to achieve it when he mentioned the safe to Sonny and Laura!

It Would Make Sense For Lucas To Search Pascal’s Quarters For Marco’s Things

General Hospital fans will remember Lucas was very upset to see Pascal wearing Marco Rios’ (Adrian Anchondo) tie, so it would make sense for Lucas to search his quarters.

In the process of searching for any of Marco’s things in Pascal’s quarters, perhaps he found something significant providing proof that Sidwell had killed someone.

Obviously, there was not an exhaustive search by the Port Charles Police Department or they would have found much more-the lab, and the imprisoned Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy)!

Perhaps Lucas found some intriguing proof that Sidwell killed someone amongst Pascal’s things-not exactly caught in the act, but certainly would be helpful to police!
