General Hospital Spoilers: Lucas Takes a Huge Risk to Save Britt—The Medical Gamble No One Saw Coming

General Hospital spoilers and updates tease that Lucas Jones (Van Hansis) becomes Britt Westbourne’s (Kelly Thiebaud) unexpected hero, taking over when Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) disappears.

Originally, Jason intended to rescue Britt and have her Huntington’s meds reverse engineered, but with Steve Burton on hiatus, Jason might just disappear!

Cullum Interrogates Jason, He And Britt Discuss Their Options

General Hospital viewers will recall that Jason and Britt have been meeting in secret, but those sexy nights in the vacant harbormaster’s quarters may not be as secret as they think!

Britt was warned, actually threatened by corrupt WSB Director Ross Cullum (Andrew Hawkes) that she had to break up with Jason, and if she didn’t, his life would be in danger.

Cullum will interrogate Jason, and after that, he and Britt will discuss their options; but they’d better watch their backs.

Britt had also been warned that she was replaceable, that there was another scientist who could take her place on her father, Cesar Faison’s (Anders Hove) final project.

Considering she saw Jenz Sidwell (Carlo Rota) shoot and kill Professor Henry Dalton, (Daniel Goddard) whose place she took, she knows with a certainty that she could be next!

Lucas Overhears Another Conversation Between Jenz And Marco

Even though Lucas made up with Marco Rios (Adrian Anchondo) after overhearing him in a conversation, showing who and what he really was, Lucas made up with him and didn’t move out of Wyndemere.

But one thing he overheard is that Britt was being held hostage in by threats of her medication being taken away to work in the lab.

The look on his face when he embraced Marco showed his heart may not be in his relationship anymore; he’s just staying to get Britt out!

In the General Hospital weekly promo he tells a worried Britt that they can’t get away from Sidwell until he gets her out!

It’s possible the “we” he mentions to her is him and Marco, although he probably shouldn’t trust him-but he’s giving him a chance-but not joining in the rescue of Britt!

Lucas Takes It Upon Himself To Both Rescue Britt And Her Medication To Have It Reverse-Engineered

Lucas takes it upon himself to both rescue Britt and her medication to have it reverse-engineered; and he learns it’s Marco who is giving her the shots now.

There’s a chance-if Marco isn’t just using Lucas, like Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) fears, Marco might join Lucas in the rescue mission.

But if not, there’s a chance that the ingredients, if not the exact formula of her meds can be ascertained by a blood test shortly after she’s been given a dose.

There’s also a chance that either Liesl Obrecht (Kathleen Gati) or even Brad Cooper (Parry Shen), working with Britt and Lucas can reverse engineer her meds. But with Cullum’s scrutiny of Britt, as well as Pascal’s scrutiny of Lucas, it’s going to be a very dangerous mission!
