General Hospital Spoilers: Lulu and Brook Lynn Face Off Over Dante Divorce! Did Lulu Give Up Too Soon?

General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that Brook Lynn Ashton (Amanda Setton) wasted no time getting caught up on all the Port Charles gossip once she arrived home at the Quartermaine Mansion. But she had no idea the can of worms she was opening when she asked about Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zomprogna). At one point, Brook Lynn tried to steal Dante away from Lulu Spencer (Emmy Rylan) but she had no success with breaking the couple up.

General Hospital Spoilers – Dante Falconeri has severe PTSD

That’s why Brook Lynn will be surprised and a little angry that Lulu gave Dante a divorce so quickly, There is no love lost between Lulu and Brook Lynn, so it would be completely in character for Brook Lynn to give Lulu grief for giving up so easily. Lulu won’t care what Brook things, but she’s likely to wonder how its any of her business. Brook will still care about Dante, and will be bothered that his wife gave up on him so fast.

GH Spoilers – That’s not exactly what happened

Dante is the one who filed for divorce. Lulu didn’t do anything to help the divorce along, but she didn’t fight it either. If this was Dante’s wish, then she wouldn’t stand in his way. She tell Brook all of this but then look for Dustin Phillips (mark Lawson) to show up and Brook will jump to conclusions. One look at the teacher and Brook Lynn will think she has all the answers. And while she isn’t right, she’s not completely wrong either.

General Hospital Spoilers – She didn’t fight for Dante Falconeri because she was hot for Dustin Phillips?

Once Brook Lynn takes one look at Dustin, she will just assume that Lulu gave up on Dante so fast because she already had a new man lined up. This isn’t the case of course, but its true that Dustin and Lulu have definitely moved pretty quickly. It doesn’t look like Olivia Ashton (Lisa LoCicero) agree on much but they bot will think Lulu moved on too fast. At Dante’s expense.

GH Spoilers – What will happen?

Will Brook Lyn seek out Lulu and jump to the wrong conclusions about Dustin? Will Lulu feel guilty for giving up so fast? Only time will tell, but stay tuned to General Hospital, airing weekdays on ABC. And don’t forget to check back here regularly for all your General Hospital news, information and spoilers!

Lulu stayed loyal to Dante for nearly a year after he was gone. Then Dante came back and had serious PTSD. He went for treatment but his treatment was messed up by Maxie who thought that she could bring Dante back to Lulu. However Dante ended up shooting Peter which made his condition worse. Dante filed for divorce from Lulu after. Lulu could have fought for Dante but he wanted the divorce. Recently Dante even told his mother Olivia to stop writing him. Dante wants to break away from his family at this time to focus on his recovery. Lulu needed to move on because she did everything that she could for her marriage to Dante. Dustin has been good for Lulu. I hope that things work out for them. Brook Lynn has not been around during this time and she does not need to get into Lulu’s business.

I like Brook Lynn. And anyone who can get in Lulu’s face and not back down is welcome in my opinion. Lulu had ridden on the Spencer name coat tails and been an insufferable bully long enough. Chew her up and spit her out Brook Lynn.

I don’t feel Lulu gave up on Dante too soon. After all, it was Dante who decided he was a danger to his family and wanted out of the marriage. I think the whole Dante/Lulu split was poorly written due to Dominic’s desire to leave GH. If he had stayed on canvas, the split could have been written differently. As with so many other story lines, this one was written into a corner that resulted in an ending that didn’t make much sense. Even after fans complaining on the way Dante was written out, the second attempt on his departure was just as bad as the first with no real closure.
