General Hospital Spoilers: Lulu and Dante Lead the Drama – Amid Buzz of Nathan’s Return

General Hospital Spoilers reveal the fandom is alight with whispers of a major character surprise this week, and all signs point to Ryan Paevey’s confirmed return — unconfirmed as of yet, but heavily speculated to be as the beloved Nathan West!

Nathan’s tragic death in 2018 left hearts shattered, but soap logic loves a resurrection, especially with Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) in a coma.

If Nathan struts back alive, perhaps via WSB machinations or a faked demise, it puts Lulu Spencer (Alexa Havins Bruening) and Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) front and center, dealing with the fallout.

How will they react to this blast from the past, and what about young James West (Gary James Fuller), who never met his dad.

Furthermore, how will Damien Spinelli (Bradford Anderson) — Maxie’s current flame — fit into this mix if Maxie’s husband is alive?

Nathan’s Shocking Resurrection

If Paevey’s comeback is indeed Nathan, it’s a classic GH twist — maybe he was spirited away by the WSB after his “death” at Cesar Faison’s (Anders Hove) hands, or held captive like Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud).

With Maxie comatose from a heart attack, Nathan’s return could be timed for maximum drama, perhaps to jolt her awake or protect their son James from emerging threats like Jenz Sidwell (Carlo Rota).

Fans speculate he’s been in hiding, rebuilding strength, only to resurface now amid Port Charles chaos. Unconfirmed or not, this bombshell would shake the canvas, especially with Paevey’s “meaty storyline” tease.

Lulu and Dante’s World is Rocked

Lulu and Dante would be ground zero for Nathan’s revival — Lulu as Maxie’s best friend and co-parent to Rocco Falconeri (Finn Francis) with Dante, who’d face his ex-partner’s ghost.

Dante’s cop instincts might scream foul play, probing Nathan’s “survival” while grappling with jealousy over Maxie’s past love.

Lulu, recovering from her own coma, could bond with Nathan over shared losses, but it might strain her ties with Spinelli. Their reactions could range from joy for Maxie to suspicion — is this really Nathan, or a Faison-like imposter?

James, Spinelli, and the Ripple Effects

Little James, never knowing his dad, might idolize Nathan’s return, but it could confuse his bond with stepdad Spinelli, sparking a custody tug-of-war if Maxie wakes.

Spinelli’s jealousy over Nathan’s legacy — Maxie’s “true love” — could erupt, especially if Nathan eyes reclaiming his family.

Others like Liesl Obrecht (Kathleen Gati) would rejoice at her son-in-law’s revival, while Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) navigates Willow’s drama. If Nathan is back, it reshapes everything. Will joy prevail, or old wounds reopen? Stay tuned for more GH news and spoilers to find out.

Oh, please don’t put Lulu and Nathan together. She needs a good man, but unless he’s changed a LOT, he’s the most boring character in PC. And unless his acting has improved, (and his ego lessened) he’s gonna be painful to watch alongside the very talented cast members his character could be involved with. Alexa (Lulu), Kathleen (Liesel), Kelly (Britt), Cynthia (Nina), Bradford (Spinneli), and many others…heck, even that adorable, amazing child (Gary James Fuller) who plays James, can act RP under the table.
