Spinelli has waited for the love of his life to wake up from a coma for months, but her husband Nathan West’s (Ryan Paevey) return from the dead is complicating things.
Lucky for Spinelli, he’s not the only person in Port Charles who benefits from keeping Nathan and Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) apart.
Nathan And Lulu
When Ryan Paevey returned to General Hospital last year, nobody expected to see Nathan West ever walk the streets of Port Charles again.
Since his wife had moved on (multiple times) and was in a coma, the former cop really had no choice but to move on too.
It wasn’t long before he began spending time with his wife’s bestie Lulu Spencer (Alexa Havins) and right before Maxie miraculously woke up they shared their first kiss.

Lulu Spencer clearly has feelings for Nathan West, so far the couple is trying to keep their romance under the radar since Maxie’s return.
After Maxie an Nathan’s emotional reunion last week on General Hospital, it’s obvious Naxie still has a spark (even if they aren’t getting back together right now). Lulu should definitely be worried about her relationship with Nathan, her new man is clearly still in love with his old wife.
Lulu And Spinelli Have Something In Common
Damian Spinelli (Bradford Anderson) has seen the writings on the wall and knows he could lose Maxie to Nathan at any moment.
It’s even more heartbreaking when you consider the fact that he waited almost a year for Maxie to wake up, just to lose her all over again.

Last week on General Hospital, Spinelli opened up to Lulu about his fears of a Naxie reunion. Obviously Lulu is just as worried as Spinelli is, so she gave him a pep-talk and encouraged him to fight for her bestie.
You can’t help but wonder if Lulu has ulterior motives. GH spoilers hit Lulu will might even help Spinelli pull of a grand gesture to win over Maxie, maybe even a proposal.
Is she really that worried about Spinelli’s feelings, or is Lulu willing to do anything to keep Nathan away from his wife? Will Maxie forgive her if she realizes the truth behind Lulu being on Team Spinelli?
