General Hospital Spoilers – Cyrus Renault Plays Nice For Now
GH fans might agree that for the moment, it’s in Cyrus Renault’s interest to play nice with the powers that be in Port Charles. Once it became clear that he would be released from Pentonville Prison and there was nothing that Laura Spencer or her husband, Kevin Collins (Jon Lindstrom) could do about it, Cyrus put on a charming face. Viewers watched Cyrus become exceedingly polite. Cyrus attempted to shake the hands of his “former” enemies before walking out of prison and onto the streets of Port Charles.
Since he’s been out of Pentonville, viewers have seen Cyrus begin to look for allies. For example, Cyrus was recently seen at Charlie’s Pub where he went ostensibly for a meeting with Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) to negotiate some kind of peace between their respective organizations. While Sonny stood up his date, Cyrus ended up having some drinks and talking with Julian Jerome (William deVry).
Cyrus has also attempted to clean up his image in the local media. In fact, Cyrus met up with Lulu at the Metro Court to participate in an interview for The Invader. Of course, Cyrus was taken by surprise to learn that Lulu was Laura Spencer’s daughter. However, Cyrus didn’t allow that to stop him from carrying on with the interview or from being as sickeningly sweet and desperately as charming as possible.
GH Spoilers – Cyrus Renault Is An Investor

Viewers know that Cyrus told Lulu that he was an investor who put his money into projects that interested him and that provided him with a profit. Of course, he wasn’t clear on the exact nature of those investments. However, it wasn’t long before Laura Spencer joined him and Lulu at their table, and Cyrus was grinning and promising to make large donations to Laura’s reelection campaign for mayor of Port Charles.
Apparently, Cyrus believes Laura would make a good investment. The truth is, even if his campaign contribution cannot be seen as a bribe, it would still aid Cyrus’s drive to appear squeaky clean. GH fans know that if one boils it all down, this entire effort on Cyrus’s part is to tell the Port Charles public that he is a lover, not a fighter.

Despite his crusade to cover the reality of his nature, GH viewers know that Cyrus won’t hesitate to use anything or anyone to get what he wants. Cyrus also isn’t afraid to use murder as a tool. In fact, Cyrus has shown himself to be exceedingly vindictive. He may have the power to kill his enemies, but it appears a lot more fun for Cyrus to watch them suffer. Therefore, instead of killing his enemies, Cyrus executes the family members and friends of those he feels have wronged him.

GH fans know that Cyrus definitely believes Laura Spencer has done him wrong. It wouldn’t be beyond the pale than to suggest that Laura ought to ensure Lulu watches her back … or gets out of Port Charles until Cyrus Renault is no longer a threat.
Give me a big fat break. Lulu is her own worst enemies because she don’t think about her action will always backfire on her. Somebody will save from the danger that she cause in the first place.
