General Hospital spoilers and updates tease that if there’s one thing that rarely happens on daytime dramas, it’s a happy couple! General Hospital viewers will have noticed that “Sante”, the couple name for Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) and Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) seems to be accelerating rather quickly, leaving poor Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) in the dust – could Lulu Spencer (Emme Rylan) return soon to shake things up?

General Hospital Spoilers – Sante Was Moving Very Slowly As Friends Then Suddenly Accelerated Into Lovers

General Hospital viewers will recall that Sam and Dante seemed to be moving very, very slowly as friends, then accelerated into lovers very suddenly, after the return of Drew Cain, which is unfortunate for him-he had hopes for their reconciliation. Of course, General Hospital viewers will recall that both Dante and Sam are single parents and had their childrens’ wishes to consider – Danny Morgan (Zakary Risinger) just lost his dad although Scout Cain (Ella Ramacieri) got hers back.

But Rocco Falconeri’s (Brady and Beckett Bauer) mother, Lulu has remained in an indefinite coma since the explosion of The Floating Rib over a year ago, and she collapsed as she was trying to tell Dante she still loved him! Most fans react to “Sante” as if they were brother and sister, citing that their “chemistry” either is nonexistent or falls flat, and even worse, their romance has been centered around finding Drew and their mutual kids!

GH Spoilers – Sam McCall Dumped Jason Morgan, Citing A Dangerous Lifestyle

General Hospital viewers will agree that hooking up with Dante, a cop, may not be like being married to a hit man, but Sam did dump Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) citing the lifestyle being too dangerous for their kids. General Hospital viewers know that Sam craved the safety and stability she had when she and Drew had been together, but now that Drew is back, there she is with a cop who just got shot trying to take down Peter August (Wes Ramsey)!

Thankfully, it was only a flesh wound and as long as Peter’s loose there’s danger everywhere for everyone, Drew included but General Hospital spoilers tease it won’t be for long. Dante knows all too well that a cop’s life is dangerous as well, he wasn’t hurt too badly this time but look what happened to Mac Scorpio (John J. York) – he’ll make it, but Dante lost a partner to Peter too. That was Maxie Jones’ (Kirsten Storms) husband, Nathan West (Ryan Paevey), who was also Peter’s half-brother!

General Hospital Spoilers – Lulu Spencer’s Return Could Push Sam McCall Back To Drew Cain

General Hospital viewers know that no one but Lulu could pull Dante away from Sam, pushing her back to Drew, but General Hospital powers that be would have to really rush Sante into a whirlwind courtship to maximize the drama! Lulu coming out of her coma now and coming back for her man would bring the drama, and especially since she doesn’t even know that her father presumably died, and her mother Laura Collins (Genie Francis) would be thrilled!

But Laura will have one more family member to protect against Victor Cassadine (Charles Shaughnessy) on an already crowded plate – and remember, Lulu is Charlotte Cassadine’s (Amelie McClain) mother too! Another possibility is that Drew and Lulu could bond, over their similar circumstances of waking up to a world much different than that which they left-only in Drew’s case he was in captivity, not in a coma. Soap Opera digest recently published a blind item about a recast of a major character, could it be Lulu Spencer?
