General Hospital spoilers reveals Cody Bell (Josh Kelly) is facing a tough week ahead. He’s living in the Quartermaine’s stables, and while they might invite him to take part in their annual Thanksgiving dinner complete with all the pizza one can eat, Cody is going to feel more alone than ever at the thought of being surrounded by someone else’s family.

He is longing for his own this holiday season, and kicking himself for throwing away the chance to have a great one. When Mac Scorpio (John J. York) invites Cody to Thanksgiving dinner with his family, Cody will wonder whether he should go. Could it be his guilty conscience telling him he doesn’t deserve their company?

Mac’s invitation will surprise Cody, who was sure he was on his own from here on out. Sure, Mac said they might grab a beer sometime, but Cody figured he was just being nice. Spending time with Mac means Cody is likely to notice how much he had taken to the idea of being his father, and how much he still wishes it were true. Felicia Scorpio (Kristina Wagner) is going to be protective of Mac and might not want him to get too close to Cody, but she’s also a private investigator and knows she smells a rat somewhere around Cody. She just hasn’t been able to put her finger on it yet.

Cody’s going to go to dinner, and he’s going to get an insider’s view of what it’s really like to be a part of a family like this. The joy on everyone’s faces and the memories being made are going to make Cody look at this family in a new light and ask himself why he decided to forego all of this for money. Still, he hasn’t had the easiest life and cons are what Cody knows. Turning down $35 million is no small feat, but he’s about to learn that Thanksgiving with his family is priceless.

General Hospital Spoilers — Will He Have A Change Of Heart?

Cody might be on his way to turning this whole thing around, but he has no idea how he would do so at this point. He lied to Mac and Felicia, and to Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud). He told them right to their faces that he was not Mac’s son when the paternity test confirmed he was. He was just fortunate no one else got to see it. The trade-off for that lie might be well-compensated, but it comes at a heavy cost at the same time. Likewise, he has to carry this lie for the rest of his life and never truly know his father.
