General Hospital spoilers and updates tease that Mac Scorpio (John J. York) will make an admission to Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco). Mac, not knowing that Cody Bell (Josh Kelly) is his son, tells Sam he wishes he was his son!

General Hospital Spoilers: An Awkward Situation

Sam is privy to the secret that Cody lied about the results of his paternity test with Mac, she and Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) have talked about it. Cody has been strongly encouraged to come clean with Mac, but he thinks he’s not good enough to be his son, but the dollar signs in his eyes are a factor.

As Leopold Taub’s (Chip Lucia) son he stands to make a lot of money from his and Scott Baldwin’s (Kin Shriner) lawsuit against the WSB.

So when Mac has a conversation about Cody with Sam and tells her he wishes Cody was his son, it puts her in a very awkward situation. However, she plans to tell Dante what Mac said and contemplates if they should pass on Mac’s thoughts to Cody.

GH Spoilers: Taking All Of Cody Bell’s Excuses Away

Sam thinks that telling Cody what Mac admitted to her could go a long way to taking all of Cody’s excuses away about confessing he lied about the paternity test results. Sam doesn’t think that a little white lie on Cody’s part about misunderstanding the medical terminology on the form will hurt if it fixes a big one!

The worst that could happen is that Cody makes himself look a little stupid for not having a doctor explain them to him. For that matter, he could have showed it to Mac because he knows how to read a paternity test-DNA results come into police work sometimes. Again, the worst that might happen is Cody makes himself look a little stupid.

General Hospital Spoilers: Sounds Like A Plan

Dante agrees what Sam is thinking sounds like a plan, even though he just talked to Cody about telling Mac the truth. Maybe it’s pride but Dante thinks it’s Cody wanting to make money in that shady deal with Baldwin that’s holding him back.

Cody got more than a little defensive when the two of them got into an argument recently but maybe if Sam’s the one who does the talking he might listen.

It certainly can’t hurt for Cody to know that Mac thinks highly enough of him that he wishes the paternity test had said he was his son. The best that could happen, Cody listens-the worst, he remains stubborn.
