Margaux and Sonny have been getting closer and it would seem that she will be one of the many law enforcers to fall for the mob kingpin. At first, what she felt for this guy was utter disgust. But as she tries to chase him, her feelings start to take a 180-degree turn.

Sonny is getting through to her in ways she didn’t expect. And as her feelings for Sonny grow, she starts to question everything including her work and personal beliefs. Apart from that, she’s also shaken up after finding out that her mother had an affair with someone who is involved in criminal activities. The don had a hand at the shocking revelation, which showed fans a different side of Margaux.

General Hospital Elizabeth Hendrickson Talks Her Character

Elizabeth Hendrickson, who portrays Margaux, said she loves her character so much. She added that her character has to play tough and persistent given the kind of people she’s going up against in Port Charles. She also conceded her tendency to play unliked characters including The Young and The Restless’ Chloe and All My Children’s Frankie.

But’s she’s optimistic that fans may eventually like her character Margaux more now that she has this special thing for Sonny, which shows viewers that beyond their tough exteriors, both of them also have a heart and they know how to feel. Hendrickson said, “Maurice Benard (Sonny) and I have had a lot of fun trying to find all those great, intimate moments to show the humanity in both of our characters.”

With the recent reality check that Margaux has been having, fans have to stay tuned to find out how far will she and Sonny go. Although her character is having some reservations about her feelings for Sonny, Hendrickson teased that “if there was any super couple I would ever interfere with, Sonny and Carly would be the one to get in the middle of, because I respect Maurice and Laura Wright so much. I’ll take any opportunity to work with them. I know the fans would come after me, but sometimes, you have to shake things up. So if that’s the path these two characters go, I would love it!”
