General Hospital Spoilers: Martin Stops Victor, Tries To Kidnap Esmé, Raise Cassadine Heir Himself?

General Hospital spoilers and updates tease that Martin Grey (Michael E. Knight) will stop Victor Cassadine’s (Charles Shaughnessy) evil plot. Victor tries to kidnap Esmé Prince (Avery Kristen Pohl) so he can raise the Cassadine heir himself, but Martin won’t let him!

General Hospital Spoilers – Martin Grey Remembers Lucy Coe’s Kidnapping

Martin perhaps feels a little more sorry for Esmé than he should, but she’s amnesiac and doesn’t know who she is, and she’s legitimately afraid-he’s not as cynical as some. Nikolas Cassadine (Marcus Coloma) is paying his retainer, and whatever the girl may have done, she’s carrying his great niece or nephew and has the right to legal representation. Not to mention Martin has a certain perspective when it comes to the Cassadine patriarch-he’s the one who kidnapped his Lucy Coe (Lynn Herring) and perhaps killed her.

According to General Hospital spoilers, Martin doesn’t want the very pregnant Esmé to suffer the same fate at Victor’s hands as Lucy, and once the baby’s born, god knows what would happen to her! Martin and his sister Laura Collins (Genie Francis) have exactly the same opinion of Victor Cassadine, even though Laura knows him for many years longer than Martin.

GH Spoilers – Even Cyrus Renault Doesn’t Trust Victor Cassadine

Laura and Martin know their supposedly found-the-light-reformed brother Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober) doesn’t trust Victor either, and that is saying a lot. Usually criminals tend to stick together, but not Cyrus when it comes to Victor-he tried to influence Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Alexander Chavez) not to trust Victor either.

That is one thing the two brothers and half-sister agree on, even if Martin and Laura don’t buy Cyrus’ born-again routine, he’s right on the penny about Victor! Even though Esmé’s room at General Hospital has an armed guard, Martin knows Victor has plenty of spies in the PCPD and he keeps an eye out as well. And it’s a good thing that he is, because he spies the Cassadine lurking around the hospital.

General Hospital Spoilers – Martin Grey Thwarts Victor Cassadine

Martin sees the guard leave, but not like someone relieves him – the guard is called away, does not return, and Martin knows what’s happening. The Cassadine has arranged for the guard to be called away and there’s also a huge distraction at the Nurses’ Station with a supposed emergency all hands on deck scenario. Martin knows he’s taking on a risky assignment protecting his client from Victor, but he’s mad enough from what he did to Lucy that he’s full of adrenaline.

He sees Victor approach Esmé’s room, and he rushes to bar the door-surely Victor’s not stupid enough to commit a crime in plain sight! The two argue and soon it gets loud, and the Cassadine is escorted away by the real GH security.
