General Hospital Spoilers: Marty’s Past Merges With Someone Else We Know Well — But Whose?

General Hospital spoilers reveal Martin ‘Marty’ Grey (Michael E. Knight) is keeping a secret. It’s tearing him up inside to lie to his beloved Lucy Coe (Lynn Herring), and he’s going to start to worry that he’s made a major mistake. Heeding Mac Scorpio’s (John J. York) warnings that Lucy is far from forgiving, Marty will wonder if he overestimated his ability to keep this secret — or keep Lucy if it comes out. As the truth emerges about Marty’s past, we’re going to hear a very familiar name come to light. Heads up, AMC fans, Erica Kane (Susan Lucci) could be in the house.

We already know that Jackson ‘Jack’ Montgomery (Walt Willey) is headed to Port Charles soon. In a few weeks, we will learn more about why.

For now, the rumor mill is claiming that Jack will head to town as a representative of Erica Kane. Is it possible that she could have ties to the original Deceptor product and be suing Deception for using her idea? This is where things with Marty may come into play.

We’ve heard Erica‘s name a time or two over the last few years – specifically as it relates to the cosmetics and fashion industry. It has been hinted that Deception and Erica‘s companies often cross paths. We also know that Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot) has been up to no good, collecting information on what Lucy Coe (Lynn Herring) is up to at Deception.

Rumor has it Tracy knows a bit more about Marty’s past than she’s let on. Is she sitting on that information until just the right time to reveal it? Either way, look for Deception to be turned upside down and inside out when they are charged with stealing the proprietary information that belongs to someone else — the real creator of The Deceptor.

Marty has been lying to Lucy ever since he met her. He’s been lying to everyone, in fact. While many are speculating that he may never actually been divorced — and that his latest wife could be in waiting somewhere, the truth may also be that Marty could’ve been tangled up with Erica.

We haven’t heard anything from her in a decade, but we can hope that where there is smoke called Jack Montgomery, there will be a fiery Erica soon to follow. Suffice it to say there’s been no confirmation that Susan Lucci is returning to the soap screen.

However, Jack is, and he may be marching into Port Charles on her behalf to see to it that her intellectual property — The Deceptor– is restored to her, its natural owner. This is going to bring a lot of truth to light that Marty never wanted to get out, and we have to question why he was keeping a secret in the first place.
