Matt Cohen Has Recently Been Working As An Entertainment Tonight Correspondent
Matt, who left the role of Dr. Griffin Munro several months ago to pursue other opportunities, recently has been working as a correspondent and reporter for Entertainment Tonight. The TV guide listing for the episode of Entertainment Tonight for Thursday, December 5 states “Matt Cohen Returns To General Hospital.”
Whether this is a plug for the actor or goodbye for the correspondent is not sure, although we are sure that there will be more news coming on his return to GH and his role there as Dr. Griffin Munro. Matt also appears in a Hallmark Countdown To Christmas movie, “Holiday Date” on December 14 at 8:00 pm EST. The last time Matt was seen as Dr. Griffin Munro on General Hospital was March 22, 2019, when a despondent Griffin left town after the death of Kiki Jerome (Hayley Erin).

Carly Corinthos Will Call In A Specialist For Her Brother Lucas Jones
As General Hospital viewers know, Dr. Lucas Jones (Ryan Carnes) along with his husband Brad Cooper (Parry Shen) were in a serious car accident caused partially by being in the wrong place at the wrong time and partially by Lucas’ birth father, Julian Jerome (William DeVry) who had tampered with the braking system by cutting a wire and removing it. As a result, they crashed, coming downhill and broadsided Kendra Lennon, (Michelle Argyris) who was in the process of trying to run over and kill Alexis Davis, (Nancy Lee Grahn) she had injected with a paralytic drug and dragged out into the road.
General Hospital spoilers say that Lucas will be in a coma and suffer a traumatic brain injury, and Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) will call in a specialist, according to spoilers in Soap Opera Digest. The specialist will be Lucas’ old med school friend, Dr. Griffin Munro. Whether Matt will reprise his role as Dr. Munro permanently or for an arc until Lucas is out of the woods and on the road to recovery is not yet known, but more details may be available when the subject is discussed on “Entertainment Tonight”.
The program is syndicated, so check your local listings for Thursday, December 5th’s episode or keep an eye on their website, https://www.etonline.com/ Thursday as it may be covered there too, especially if Matt is leaving as a correspondent for them.
