General Hospital spoilers – What is happening with Sonny Corinthos wherever he’s at?
A quick General Hospital recap, here’s what we know so far: Sonny is MIA after he and Julian Jerome (William deVry) fell off a bridge into frigid water. Julian’s death is a given as he was recovered and Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) saw the authorities zipping up Julian’s body bag.
But so far there has been no sign of Sonny. It’s Christmas and Sonny would never leave his loved ones hanging so we know something has happened, something dire and serious, but what exactly is not known. And this has hardcore Sonny fans nervous.
GH Spoilers – Why Didn’t Sonny Corinthos Come Home For Christmas?
Maurice Benard posted a video to his Instagram in which he gave a bit of a hint about GH’s storylines. It’s very noticeable that the handsome and talented actor now has a beard. Benard mentions his beard but tells fans he cannot reveal the significance between his beard and Sonny.

He does say: “GH is kicking ass right now, as you probably already know.” Benard doesn’t spill any deep details however.
“Wait until you see what’s coming up, oooohhhh, cannot wait! The reason I have a beard… I can’t tell ya.”
His cryptic comments served to fuel speculation about Sonny’s fate, and apparently it’s a safe bet to assume he is still alive.
General Hospital Spoilers – What Happens Next To Sonny Corinthos In Port Charles?
General Hospital spoilers show Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) will not rest until she has some answers, and on Christmas Eve she lied to her family and said Sonny was away on business.

For now we’ll have to wait and see what happens next but Maurice’s fans enjoyed his post and one fan responded, “I love seeing friendly faces I hope you had a good Christmas you and family I hope your not leaving gh,” and another wrote, “Thank you for my Cameo message. You made my day. Merry Christmas!”
One General Hospital fan let Maurice know, “You’re such a class act. Thanks for sharing your triumphs and struggles. Merry Christmas to you and yours !”
