General Hospital Spoilers: Maxie About To Give Birth – Expect The Unexpected

General Hospital is going to be nothing but plenty of drama and exciting moment for May sweeps. We’ve got both Maxie (Kirsten Storms) and Nelle,(Chloe Lanier) who both are about to give birth any day now, and of course, a big showdown brewing between Peter (Wes Ramsey) and August.

As a matter of fact, co-head writer Shelly Altman teases: “This is a big moment, and one fans have been excited about. But it wouldn’t be a soap opera if everything went smoothly. There will definitely be an unexpected surprise or two when Maxie goes into labor.”

And as luck would have it, Peter just happens to be at the right place at the right time – with Maxie. Little does she know that Nathan’s (Ryan Paevey) half-brother is by her side while she has her first contractions. Shelly teases that the circumstances of the baby’s birth are very dramatic.

Of course, there’s also Nelle. She is about to give birth to Michael’s (Chad Duell) baby, but it will be interesting to see if Sonny (Maurice Benard) and Carly (Laura Wright) will be there for the birth of their grandchild and how they will react, of course.

Elsewhere, Anna (Finola Hughes) is very close to finding out the truth about Peter. But, danger lurks at every corner. Shelly explains, “Finn comes to grips with his true feelings for Anna and finding out that she is in danger only enhances what he’s been feeling.”
