General Hospital spoilers for the week of September 6 reveal that Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) makes a bold move. That same week, it is confirmed that Maxie and Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) will argue about what’s best for Bailey Quartermaine aka Louise “Lou” August (Harper and Scarlett Bloom). Just how bad could this battle get and what will be the outcome?

Maxie Jones’ Desperation

GH spoilers reveal that Maxie was desperate to protect her unborn baby from Peter August (Wes Ramsey). It seemed like every plan she came up with was intercepted, thwarted or didn’t work out for one reason or another. When she was drugged by the fake Chloe Jennings (Kimberly J. Brown), Maxie found herself in labor and outside in a remote area. By the time Brook Lynn got there, Maxie had her newborn baby girl and Austin Gatlin-Holt (Roger Howarth) was unconscious on the ground. Maxie handed baby Lou to Brook Lynn and the facade is still going on today.

GH Spoilers: Baby Facade

Even though Maxie just wanted to protect her child, the situation is getting complicated. Maxie and Brook Lynn both live in Port Charles. That makes it tempting for Maxie to visit and hold her little girl. With Peter showing up in Nixon Falls and watching Maxie, it’s only a matter of time before he realizes that “Bailey” is actually Louise.

Brook Lynn Quartermaine Attached

General Hospital spoilers reveal that Brook Lynn has no intention of keeping Louise longer than she has to. She is always telling the baby that one day Maxie is going to be able to take her home. However, that doesn’t mean it won’t be hard for Brook Lynn. She has been caring for and bonding with the child since the day she was born. There is an attachment there and it will be more difficult than Brook Lynn thinks to let go of that child when the time comes.

General Hospital Spoilers: Bicker Over Bailey

During the week of September 6, Maxie will make a bold move. That same week, Maxie and Brook Lynn will get into an argument. The two women fight over what is best for “Bailey.” Fans have been speculating for quite some time that this arrangement could turn into a custody battle. That might still happen, but it’s a bit early for that.

Maxie most likely wants to take her baby back or have some sort of visitation, maybe even “babysitting” the child. However, Brook Lynn will think that’s a horrible idea and she’s right. Unknown to both of them, Peter isn’t far away and if he’s been looking for Louise under the radar, then he’s probably been watching Maxie all this time too. It won’t be long before he figures out the truth and then Maxie’s baby will be kidnapped — for real this time.
