Maxie ranted about how she feels Nina’s life falls about roughly every thirteen weeks. When it does, Maxie is always right there to help Nina pick up the pieces. In fact, while Nina is unable to do her job, who does it for her? That’s right, it’s Maxie. When time is running short, who creates issues of Crimson out of thin air? That’s right, it’s Maxie!
General Hospital Spoilers – Maxi Jones No Recognition For A Long Time
In the middle of Maxie’s grumbling and complaining, Lulu stopped her to remind her friend that “There’s nothing wrong with wanting to be recognized for a job well-done.” She then convinced Maxie to head up to Nina’s office in order to confront her boss right away. Otherwise, Maxie just might have talked herself out of it. GH fans of Maxie probably agree with Lulu at this point. Maxie’s been slaving away at Crimson without recognition for a long time. She definitely deserves to see where Nina stands on Maxie’s grievances!
Fortunately for Maxie, Nina was in her office and Maxie was able to air all her dirty laundry. GH viewers might feel that Maxie should have done this a long time ago. That’s especially true considering the fact that Nina took everything Maxie had to say graciously. In fact, she wasn’t just gracious. After a brief moment of shock, Nina actually fell over herself trying to accommodate her friend’s demands. (After all, Maxie really did have some legitimate complaints, and Nina knew it.)
Just some of the things Nina agreed to, were a raise for Maxie, a promotion, a new title, etc. In fact, Nina consented to practically everything Maxie asked for. When Maxie discussed everything later with Lulu, she gushed that Nina might even get her a new office! Of course, GH viewers know that when Nina discussed the issue with Jax Jacks (Ingo Rademacher) he quickly shut down her excitement. As he said to Nina, “I hate to disappoint you, but no.”
No matter what Jax’s reasons might be for refusing Nina’s plan to promote Maxie, his decision is sure to cause strife between Nina and Maxie. In fact, it could be the straw that broke the camel’s back! After all, Nina just got done agreeing with Maxie and acting like she would take care of all Maxie’s concerns. She would be a superwoman and save Maxie’s day!
GH Spoilers – Nina Reeves Creative Director Will Decide On This
However, Nina’s Creative Director just may decide with this development that she’ll be taking her creative abilities straight over to Crimson’s biggest competitor. (That’s assuming Maxie doesn’t have a non-compete clause in her contract.)
GH fans may agree that whether Maxie leaves Crimson for good or not really isn’t the main issue. The point in question is whether Jax’s decision, for legitimate reasons or not, will ruin Nina and Maxie’s friendship. (It probably won’t, but that could depend on how disappointed Maxie is when she finds out.) Another question is whether Jax’s decision could actually hurt his own relationship with Nina. It could. This might especially be the case if she feels his decision will cause her to look like a liar in Maxie’s eyes!

I can see Maxie leaving Crimson. I think that Maxie can create her own magazine. I hope that things will get better with Peter at some point. Peter could help Maxie get her magazine started because the Invader has a deal with a publisher. I want to see Maxie and Peter become a power couple in the media world and to be able to stay together.
I still pray and hope that Maxie won’t ditch Crimson because I don’t want to see Nelle working at Crimson for any reason. I still hope when Nelle is finally get fire from Crimson that she will get anything that she want to get her back to Crimson again.
