Peter and Maxie (Kirsten Storms) have been getting closer and closer and Maxie even just brought up the idea of them living together! But Peter’s dark past has been coming back to haunt him ever since Shiloh Archer (Coby Ryan McLaughlin) started blackmailing him. Peter has scrambled to keep his secrets, but he has committed a few heinous crimes in the process. All of this has drawn the attention of one Damian Spinelli, AKA “The Jackal” so it’s a pretty safe bet that it won’t be long until Maxie discovers the truth!

There is no way Maxie will be able to get past everything Peter has done, especially not at first. It took a long time for Maxie to trust Peter at all, but all of these new revelations will definitely lead to a nasty break-up. There has been a lot of talk lately about Maxie starting her own magazine so it’s easy to imagine Maxie throwing herself into work and making that dream come true while she nurses her broken heart.

GH Spoilers – Chet Driscoll Still Cares About Maxie Jones

Meanwhile, at the Floating Rib, Chet (Chris Van Etten), who works there as a bartender, has never hidden the fact that he is interested in Maxie. The two have always had a connection and Chet might finally take the opportunity to spend more time with her, hoping that eventually it will lead to romance! Maxie certainly won’t want to get involved with anyone right away, but perhaps Chet can slowly chip away at her defenses and a new romance can start!

It is also possible that Chase (Josh Swickard) might soon be in Maxie’s orbit. He and Willow (Katelyn MacMullen) seem way to happy right now, but a split seems inevitable. Maxie could easily be drawn to Chase since he reminds her of her deceased husband, Nathan. So even though her relationship with Peter seems likely to crash and burn, Maxie’s romantic future seems bright once she is able to put Peter behind her!
