ABC General Hospital spoilers tease that Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) is getting ready to make a bold move! She surprisingly may suggest to Peter August (Wes Ramsey) that they elope!

General Hospital Spoilers – Maxie Is Pregnant And They Have Well-Meaning Or Not So Well-Meaning People Interfering!

Viewers will recall that although Peter and Maxie moved in together quite some time ago, they have been in no rush to get married. They have recently become engaged, and that kind of lines up with Maxie recently discovering that she’s pregnant!

However, they have a lot of people interfering in their lives – even though they think they mean well for Maxie, they don’t mean so well for Peter! Robert Scorpio (Tristan Rogers) is one of them, and Damian Spinelli (Bradford Anderson) is another! Even though Peter managed to frame Liesl Obrecht (Kathleen Gati) for the presumed murder of Drew Cain (Billy Miller) and the attempted murder of Dr. Andre Maddox (Anthony Montgomery) Robert and Spinelli aren’t buying it.

They don’t believe he’s innocent or anything close to it, and even if he was innocent of those crimes he’d be guilty of others! Robert is probably the worst because he won’t believe that Peter isn’t just like his late father, Cesar Faison (Anders Hove). Robert hated Faison senior and he hates Faison’s junior, and he always will. It seems like no matter how Peter tries to prove he’s changed, Robert will never believe it – and Robert would be mostly right. Peter tried – but then got caught up in Shiloh Archer’s (Coby Ryan McLaughlin) blackmail and tried to solve the problem himself instead of involving law enforcement.

All he’d have had to do is tell them Shiloh was lying – it would have been his word against Shiloh’s and no one who could verify. Drew didn’t remember anything from back then and chose not to get his memories restored!

GH Spoilers – With All The Interference, Maxie Tries To Convince Peter That It May Be Best To Elope

With all this interference – and his mother Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) planning her own wedding, Maxie may try to convince Peter it’s best to elope. Anna may be disappointed at not seeing her son get married, and Maxie’s mother Felicia Scorpio (Kristina Wagner) may as well, but they’ll get over it. She’s not sure either Mac Scorpio (John J. York) or Dr. Hamilton Finn (Michael Easton) would approve either, so maybe an elopement would be best.

That way there’s no one to interfere with, no one to stand up and object at the wedding, and they can always have a reception after the fact. It may stun Peter that Maxie, the fashionista, wouldn’t want to have a huge wedding with the latest fashionable attire. Maxie reminds him by the time she tries to plan that kind of wedding, and making sure that it doesn’t upstage Anna and Finn’s wedding, she’s going to be showing! That would mean trying to hide a baby bump with her wedding dress!

As Anna and Felicia may be disappointed that Maxie didn’t opt for a big wedding, as well as her best friend Lulu Spencer (Emme Rylan) they will certainly understand not wanting interference from Robert and Spinelli, and not wanting to have a wedding dress designed to hide a baby bump!
