General Hospital Spoilers: Maxie Quit Her Crimson Job Impulsively, Will She Regret Her Decision

General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) just made a huge career move, but it is a move that she will come to regret? For months, Maxie basically ran Crimson whenever Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) wasn’t available, which was quite often.

But once Nina returns, it always seemed to Maxie as though her contributions were taken from granted. And once again, Maxie felt underappreciated, and rightfully so.

General Hospital Spoilers – An offer from Deception!

A few months ago, Lucy Coe (Lynn Herring) told Maxie that she was being wasted at Crimson, and gave her card if she wanted to come to work at Deception. Maxie has had this in the back of her mind as Crimson seemed to get worse for her. Finally, Maxie had a talk with Nina. Nina had no idea how Maxie had felt. She promised her a promotion, more responsibility, and a raise. But Jasper “Jax” Jacks had to put the brakes on any kind of raise, there wasn’t any room in the budget. And he couldn’t give Nina more money since that might look like favoritism.

GH Spoilers – Maxie Jones on the rampage

When Maxie discovered there would be no salary increase, she promptly quit Crimson, although she has called the company home for all of her adult life. While there was a bit of misunderstanding with Lucy, Lucy found a way to hire Maxie. What Maxie doesn’t know is that Lucy received the help of a single investor, and that is Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart). This means that although Maxie is getting everything she wants currently, she is ultimately working for Valentin! There is no way this will sit well with either Maxie or Nina?

General Hospital Spoilers – Perhaps Maxie Jones rushed the gun!

Perhaps Maxie should have been more patient. She literally just asked for a raise and demanded in immediately. Jax and Nina made it clear that they definitely make sure Maxie got her to raise the next year. And Nina had already given her a new title and more responsibility. By jumping ship so fast, she may have shot herself in the foot.

GH Spoilers – What do you think?

What Maxie right to quit Crimson so impulsively? Will she be happy at Deception? Or will Valentin’s presence make Deception even worse than Maxie had it at Crimson? Should Maxie have waited until the following year, when a raise was assured? Time will tell, so stay tuned to General Hospital airing weekdays on ABC. I think she will regret it because when she finds out Valentin Is involved with Deception she won’t be happy about and neither will Sasha

No I don’t. Maxie can make Deception bigger than Crimson. I say good for her; she deserves more than Crimson is offering.
