If Nathan and Lulu are on the verge of surrendering to another kiss, it could give Maxie a chance to spot them in action.
Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) put Lulu through a grilling session in the February 19 episode.
That led to Brook Lynn learning that Lulu and Nathan had already shared a smooch, so she was disappointed to hear their feelings actually went somewhere.
Nevertheless, Brook Lynn thought it was best to bury that lip lock and concentrate on doing what’s best for Maxie now.
Confessing the kiss would only hurt Maxie as far as Brook Lynn’s concerned, so she’s adamant about sweeping it under the rug.
Of course, that doesn’t mean that kiss will really stay under wraps indefinitely. It’s possible Brook Lynn could change her mind and blab sooner or later, especially if Lulu does something to set her off.

It’s also possible guilt could drive Lulu or even Nathan to confess instead, but there’s a more dramatic option waiting if the show will just take advantage of it.
Since Nathan and Lulu can’t just turn their feelings off, there’s a good chance they’ll be tempted to lock lips once again at some point.
If there’s another stolen smooch, then Maxie might pop up and get a front-row seat!
It’s easy to imagine some situation where Maxie walks in on Lulu and Nathan in a rather intimate moment.
Nathan and Lulu might have their lips all over each other, so that could leave Maxie both heartbroken and furious.

That’s especially true if Nathan decides to reunite with Maxie and try to make something work between them again.
Maxie might get her hopes up about a renewed future with Nathan and then find out he’s kissing her best friend behind her back!
Regardless, GH writers have set the stage for Maxie and Lulu’s strong bond to take a serious hit. Lulu and Maxie’s friendship will definitely be put to the test, so we’ll see if it can survive the Nathan mess to come.
Maxie is already feeling overwhelmed following her coma awakening, but Lulu and Nathan’s double betrayal is going to add to the drama at some point.
Difficult news is looming for Maxie and will force her to reexamine some important relationships in her life.
