General Hospital Spoilers: Maxie’s Heartbreak, Spinelli Gets The Hook?

General Hospital spoilers and updates tease that Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) will suffer heartbreak in the first weeks of the new year. A recent winter preview in Soap Opera Digest forecasts her heartbreak but not why or over who-but what it doesn’t say is anything about Damian Spinelli (Bradford Anderson) anywhere!

General Hospital Spoilers – Damian Spinelli’s Been Pining

Maxie just has broken up with Dr. Austin Gatlin-Holt, (Roger Howarth) after she realized the romance with the doctor who delivered baby Bailey Lou Jones (Harper and Scarlett Prinzo-Berendt) won’t work.

Spinelli’s been pining for his Maximista after his romance with Ellie Trout (Emily Wilson) fell apart and he moved back to Port Charles with Georgie Spinelli (Lily Fisher). Not only that, but Georgie wants her parents back together too, even though she bonded very tightly with Ellie and they even visited her for Christmas.

Georgie has expressed distaste for Austin and interrupted him and her mother’s alone times every chance she got. Meanwhile, Spinelli tried not to interfere in Maxie’s love life, but didn’t always do a very good job of it.

GH Spoilers – Sam McCall Could Tell

Spinelli’s former private investigations partner Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) could tell that Spinelli wanted Maxie back, and even Ellie noticed it when they visited for Christmas and brought it up. Sam also knows that Spinelli’s gotten in over his head with his Society Setups dating app, and he’s not sure how to keep himself out of trouble.

The app is way too intrusive, and his algorithm finds information on people not legal to obtain without a warrant-while that has been a worry, there could be a fix. But as long as Maxie was enamored with the good doctor, there was no fix for Spinelli’s heart-but with this recent breakup, maybe he has a chance. Spinelli may be making lots of money with this matchmaking app, but as long as he can’t get a second chance with his own perfect match, it doesn’t matter.

General Hospital Spoilers – Just When There’s Hope For ‘Spixie’?

As long as the Hook takes victims, no one is safe in Port Charles – even if they have nothing whatsoever to do with Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali) or her trial. All the victims of the attacks, except those who were just in the way, have seemed to be connected to Trina or her trial. But back to the winter preview, why isn’t Spinelli even mentioned-we know he’s not going back with Ellie, she’s involved with Griffin Munroe (Matt Cohen) now!

Just when there’s new hope for ‘Spixie’, Maxie will deal with heartbreak; what could be more heartbreaking then the death of one’s daughter’s father? Will Spinelli be one of those random people that gets in the way of The Hook, or will he be killed trying to save someone’s life?
