General Hospital Spoilers: Michael And Dex Resemblance: Another AJ Son?

General Hospital - Michael Corinthos (Chad General Hospital spoilers and rumors tease that viewers have noted a resemblance between Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) and Dex Heller (Evan Hofer). It isn’t certain where Dex came from, although Brick (Stephen A. Smith) is doing a deep dive; could AJ Quartermaine (Sean Kanan) be his father?

General Hospital Spoilers – Half-Brothers?

Although Michael is the only son that AJ was known to have fathered, it doesn’t mean he couldn’t have had some wild oats to sprout in the past. One would think if Michael, after losing his half-brother Morgan Corinthos (Bryan Craig) found a half-brother from AJ he’d have certainly revealed it. However, Michael has changed since Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) died, becoming much more ruthless and vindictive and not always taking the higher road.

Monica Quartermaine (Leslie Charleson) would certainly be happy for another grandson from AJ and Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) another nephew. But since Michael brought Evan in to take his adoptive father Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) down, revealing a newly discovered Quartermaine to do it wouldn’t fly.

GH Spoilers – How Old Is Dex Heller?

Dex appears to be close in age to Michael although he could be a little older; he recently told Brando Corbin (Johnny Wactor) that he was in the service in Afghanistan. That may not have been true though, on the other hand he may not have meant Desert Storm, putting him at an age closer to Drew’s. Dex could have told outright lies knowing from Michael that Brando had been in the military, in an effort to gain Brando’s trust. AJ would have been in his mid-fifties by now, a couple of years old than Jason was when he died. AJ was only known to have dated Julia Barrett, (Crystal Carson) Brenda Barrett’s (Vanessa Marcil) sister, but he was a partier; if AJ was his father, his mother could be anyone.

General Hospital Spoilers – A Family Business?

Michael is in one kind of business that is a family business with Aurora Media, closely relating to ELQ, but if Dex is his half-brother through AJ it’s a different kind. In a way, Michael is mirroring Sonny by publicly being involved a legitimate business while engaging in an illegitimate one with Dex. Michael thinks he is much better than his adoptive father, but he’s really not.

And if he’s keeping Dex’s relationship as his half-brother through AJ a secret from even Monica, he’s even worse than Sonny. At least Sonny doesn’t say he puts family first but really doesn’t, like Michael seems to be doing.

      I guess it’s just me, but don’t see a definite resemblance between the two. Yes, the two are cocky, young and need to have their way, one could say there is a resemblance in their actions, and slightly facial expressions. Too many new characters being added to canvas with no apparent purpose, and legendary actors put on the back burner with nothing to do either. GH needs to re-access its story lines and stop pulling from the past and present new material.
