General Hospital (GH) spoilers suggest that Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) and Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen) just may have begun the process of growing together as two people who share a common purpose, goal, and love. GH fans know that with Sasha Gilmore (Sofia Mattsson) and Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) apparently out of the picture, Michael and Willow seem to be turning to each other as many have hoped they would.

General Hospital Updates Spoilers – Michael Corinthos And Dr. Neil Bryne Fight

As most GH fans know by now, Michael and Nelle Benson (Chloe Lanier) had a huge verbal confrontation recently. Viewers watched as Nelle came upon Michael after she left the Metro Court where she had castigated Willow, Sasha, and Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) all in short order. Now, many GH viewers felt it must be Michael’s turn to be Nelle’s punching bag.

Viewers were surprised, however, when Nelle tried to behave in a conciliatory manner. Fans know that Nelle promised Michael that if he would but consider the idea of sharing custody of their son, Wiley Cooper-Jones (Erik and Theo Olson) with her, then she would be magnanimous and drop her lawsuit against General Hospital for medical malpractice. Of course, GH viewers know that the lawsuit named Michael’s grandmothers as defendants in her case.

The bottom line is that Nelle left after Michael lost his temper and screamed at Nelle, telling her that he would never compromise with her. Ever.

GH Spoilers Rumors – Willow Tait Backs Up Michael Corinthos

Of course, GH fans know that after Nelle left, Michael spent a great deal of time beating himself up over his behavior. After all, it’s true that Michael may have made a strategic error. What if Nelle had been carrying some type of recording device? Maybe Nelle had an app running on her cellphone in her purse. Maybe she got her lawyer to help set her up with a wire. Who knows? The point is that if she was able to capture evidence that Michael has a “bad temper,” she could use that against him in court.

After Nelle left, GH fans saw Willow show up. After she found out what Michael had done, she didn’t berate him or judge or condemn him. Instead, Willow supported him. She let Michael know that she wished she could have seen him tear into Nelle and let his fury out. All in all, Willow’s behavior toward Michael was very sweet. But then, Willow is the sweet, innocent, and pure woman everyone wants Michael to marry isn’t she?

Sarcasm aside, Willow really did give Michael the emotional support he needed, pretty much right when he needed it. It was then that many GH fans felt that there might have been a bonding moment between Willow and Michael.

General Hospital Spoilers 2020 – Willow Tait Beats Up A Tree

As a sign of their growing bond, Michael got Willow to engage in a strange ritual. Apparently, by beating up helpless trees and treating them as proxies for those they really wished to injure, Willow and Michael’s connection could be cemented just that much more. (Of course, what did the tree ever do to them?)

In any case, after Willow vented her rage against Nelle on the defenseless tree (viewers must have seen her stripping its bark with each blow from her stick), Michael and Willow walked off together feeling better than they had before.

In all seriousness, GH fans now believe that this could have been the first real moment of affection between Michael and Willow. Whether Michael and Willow’s feelings will grow from here remains to be seen.
