General Hospital Spoilers: Michael Corinthos Is Not The Man We Used To Know

General Hospital spoilers indicate that we’ve been seeing a new and improved Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) in the last few weeks and apparently, there is a good reason for it! That’s because with so many “father figures” in his life, he’s learned to not only help others, but how to defend himself, too. And if there is one person who has taught him along the way, it’s Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard), his step father and a very special family friend who has been there every step of the way. Here’s what you need to know.

Steve Burton, who plays Jason Morgan on the hit ABC soap, recently told Soaps in Depth in an interview, “Michael has stepped up when he has to a few times already. I don’t want to say Nelle’s story was a coming of age for him but it was huge for him to take her down. He was just not going to back down!”

The handsome actor even adds that Jason might be more of a father than Sonny is for Michael. While some people think that’s impossible, others realize that Jason has been spending a lot of time with Michael and especially in recent weeks. Steve added (jokingly), “He’s like a son to me. Jason practically raised him. He’s not really Sonny’s!”

However, actor Chad Duell begs to differ. Apparently, his step father Jasper Jacks (Ingo Rademacher) has also helped shape Michael into the man that he is today. Chad explained, “Michael is the kind of guy that likes to take care of people and make sure everyone is all right. But he has the blood in him and he’s got business savvy.”

With that being said, it will be interesting to see what’s next for Michael and how this whole Baby Wiley drama will pan out. Needless to say, if there is one person who is the most fit to take care of the young tot, it would be his biological father, Michael. But of course, he doesn’t know that. At least, not right now. Of course, fans will have to tune in to find out what will happen next!
