General Hospital Spoilers: Michael Knight’s Soap Return – Everything You Need To Know About GH Mystery Role

General Hospital (GH) spoilers reveal that the Michael E. Knight was tapped for a mysterious role on the ABC soap opera. Soap fans know his name as the actor who played Tad on All My Children. He also played Dr. Simon Neville on The Young and the Restless.

According to ABC Soaps In Depth, the actor should start taping for the role any day now. And, that means, his debut is slated for November sweeps at the end of October.

Here’s what we know about Knight’s highly-anticipated return to daytime.

General Hospital Spoilers – The Details Of Michael E. Knight’s Role Are A Secret

The GH fans cannot wait to find out more about Michael’s return to daytime. However, ABC is being very guarded about what information they reveal about it. And, the viewers probably won’t know much information about it until his appearance, which is expected in late October.

General Hospital has been on hiatus this week (September 9-13), but will return on September 16 for taping. Soaps in Depth believes that once they return, Knight will start filming. At the time of this writing, there is no word on how long his arc will be.

Nearly everything about his role is being kept under wraps.

General Hospital Stars React To His Role

Maurice Benard (Sonny Corinthos), played the role of Nico Kelly on All My Children in the 1980s, was excited that Michael joined the General Hospital family. He said that Knight is “the funniest guy he’s ever met.”

Laura Wright (Carly Corinthos) responded with “yes” to the news of his mystery role. It’s clear that she is excited about it, too.

Perhaps, no one was more excited about his role than James Patrick Stuart (Valentin Cassadine). Stuart played Pine Valley villain Will Cortlandt. He said there are so many reasons to rejoice and he was thrilled to be together again.

As it turns out, Stuart and Knight was more than just former co-stars, they are like family. They are very close friends and Michael is the godfather to James’ son.

Stuart revealed to the soap magazine that in 2016, he had plans to go on a Hawaiian vacation with Michael, but he had to back out after getting the role of Valentin. Knight teased him that he was backing out of their trip for a TV role, admitting he would do the same.

It sounds like Michael E Knight will be a great addition to the General Hospital family. Look for his debut in late October.
