General Hospital: Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell), Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) General Hospital spoilers reveal that in Port Charles, NY Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) offers to give up control of ELQ. Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) turns down the offer, but he could change his mind. Stuart teased how and why Michael would strike a deal with Valentin. However, could he end up regretting it since it gives Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) access to her grandson?

General Hospital Spoilers – Valentin Cassadine’s Offer

GH spoilers reveal that Valentin would do anything for Nina. This week, we are going to see him give Michael an offer. He is willing to relinquish control of ELQ and hand the reins back to Michael. However, there is a catch. If Valentin does this, then Michael must agree to continue letting Nina be a part of Wiley Quartermaine-Corinthos’ (Erik and Theo Olson) life.

However, Michael turns Valentin down flat. He’s not interested in his offer and isn’t going to allow Wiley to be used as a bargaining chip. Valentin thinks he’s crazy for turning down a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity. Despite the offer being turned down, there is a chance that Michael could change his mind.

General Hospital Spoilers – James Patrick Stuart Teases Reconsideration

General Hospital spoilers from the new issue of Soap Opera Digest tease what could happen next. Stuart stated that if Michael doesn’t change his own mind, then his family will. The actor told the publication, “I don’t believe that Valentin has actually accepted it as a no. I don’t think he can fathom the idea that Michael would be willing to pass on a deal that lopsided in his favor. Valentin thinks he will come around, that when everyone else in the Quartermaine family gets wind of it, they will change his mind.”

GH Spoilers – What About Nina Reeves?

The only problem with this deal is that it involves Nina. She wants access to her grandson. She was being allowed visitation because of Michael and Willow Tait (Katelyn Macmullen). However, she ruined that when she told Wiley that Willow wasn’t his real mother. Wiley is much too young to understand and besides, that was not Nina’s call to make.

Even though she regrets getting caught and it cost her access to Wiley, Nina isn’t going to give up. This isn’t just about wanting to get to know her grandson. If that were the case, things would be different. But for Nina, she’s become obsessed and is determined to get revenge. She initially declines Valentin’s help, but she probably won’t be able to fix the mess she made. This might make her desperate enough to do things she wouldn’t have done a year ago.

So, if Michael does end up taking Valentin’s offer later on, could he end up regretting it due to the Nina factor? We will have to keep watching the ABC soap to see how this story pans out.
