Summer Preview Spoilers Tease A Corporate Shakeup Is Coming
Summer preview spoilers from Soap Opera Digest teased a corporate shakeup is coming, and the pieces are now all in place, possibly with one extra unexpected problem!
There was already a shakeup with Deception Cosmetics when Maxie Jones (most recently Kirsten Storms) sold her shares to Michael, and Serena Baldwin’s (Kelly Kruger) on the way. Lucy Coe (Lynn Herring) put a call into Serena, to come and help even out the corporate playing field.
So what is the unexpected problem that Michael could be making a preemptive power play to prevent?
There could definitely be an unexpected monkey wrench thrown into the mix if Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) tries to get Aurora Media back!
Drew Is Out To Take Back What’s His, And Wants Revenge Against Those Who’ve Wronged Him
With Drew’s sudden “recovery” from his massive “stroke” and associated “locked in syndrome” he’s had for months, he’s out to take back what’s his, as well as revenge against those who’ve wronged him.
With Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) facing some legal trouble, and possibly facing some jail time, Drew might see an opportunity to get Aurora back.
Drew was the original founder of Aurora Media along with Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) when they were still married, during the time period she found out he was Jason Morgan’s (Steve Burton) twin.
Sam was trying to decide between Drew and Jason, who’d returned to Port Charles after being held captive in the Boronsky Clinic.
For a short time, Drew and Michael were partners before Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) got into all that insider trading trouble, with Drew going to prison for her!
Michael May Have To Make A Preemptive Strike Power Play To Keep Drew Out Of The Company
Michael and Drew more or less became enemies over Willow Cain’s (Katelyn MacMullen) cheating on Michael with Drew-but that rivalry never healed. Michael may have to make a preemptive strike kind of power play to ensure Aurora is safe before Drew tries a corporate takeover.
Drew may not be in his congressional seat at the moment, but it’s likely Willow hasn’t drained him dry of his money just yet-one thing Michael could do is buy Curtis out.
Of course, that would be after giving Curtis a heads up of what he’s planning to do-and if Curtis doesn’t go to prison, he can always give it back. Drew probably doesn’t have enough to buy both Curtis and Michael out to get Aurora back.
