General Hospital Spoilers: Michael’s Dirty New Plan Destroys Brook Lynn And Chase?

General Hospital spoilers and updates tease Michael Corinthos (Rory Gibson) is actively trying to break up his cousin Brook Lynn Quartermaine’s (Amanda Setton) marriage!

He’s trying to push her husband, Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) back together with his ex, Willow Cain (Katelyn MacMullen) in an effort to get sole custody of the children.

Michael Thinks Pushing Willow And Chase Together Will Create A Congressional Scandal

Michael thinks pushing Willow and Chase together-picking up on their undercurrent of residual mutual attraction-will create a congressional scandal for Willow, making sole custody easier.

But as for his cousin Brook Lynn, he doesn’t see that if he’s successful it could cause major problems between her and himself.

He just figures he’s saving her a lifetime of heartache by getting her unshackled from Chase, who once was his best friend, but  now, he just views as a jerk! 

Something he overheard at home after talking to Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) about his car wreck made him suspicious that Curtis is blaming the wrong person!

Brook Lynn’s Car Has A Serious Rattle

Michael overheard Brook Lynn and Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot) talking about Brook Lynn’s car when he got home, which got him to thinking.

Even though Curtis was bound and determined it was Isaiah Gannon (Sawandi Wilson) who not only caused their wreck, but drove on by after seeing it happen, Michael was doubtful.

Brook Lynn had been convinced-against her better judgment-to keep her swerve on Route 91 the night of the wreck a secret.

She’d been drinking a little, but couldn’t miss Gio Palmieri (Giovanni Mazza) playing at Charlie’s Pub, even though he was just backing up Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali).

As it turned out she was late-but seeing her show up for the performance meant a lot to her son anyway.

Curtis Told Michael That The Paint Found On The Guardrail Was From A Black BMW

During his conversation with Michael, he told him that the paint found on the guardrail was from a black BMW. And he happened to know that Isaiah drove a black BMW SUV, which was being repaired, and didn’t believe Isaiah’s claims that he scraped it in a parking garage.

But it so happens that Brook  Lynn’s car is a black BMW too, and for the door to have a rattle in it, it had to have been in a wreck, although possibly a minor one.

Michael realizes that if Brook Lynn is shown to be lying, Chase is not going to like it-and he may decide to use Brook Lynn lying about possibly causing Curtis’ wreck to further his ‘Chillow’ agenda.

Will that be the straw that breaks the back of the camel that is Brook Lynn and Chase’s marriage, and drive Chase back into Willow’s arms, therefore solving all Michael’s problems?
